Inattentive and Rushed
My son was assigned to Dr. McCurdy as an infant. Every appointment has been rushed on her part. Me and my husband have both felt blown off and unheard at appointments for him. We asked about possible autism due to some behaviors we were seeing and she said, 'I don't think he has that, but I'll give you a paper anyway.' After filling the paperwork out and having her assess it she made it seem like I dishonestly filled it out just to get a referral for mental health services for my son. No other resources were given, no packet printed off or even a list of people I could call to get my son help just that Burrell would get back to me and that the waiting list is 2 and a half years out (not her fault obviously). We have just felt like a burden for being there multiple times and will be switching providers.
