Dr. Heather Madigan, DO

I was admitted to Saratoga Hospitsl for liver function issues. Turned out to be Lyme disease. I don’t know what idiot gave her a 1 star review, but she was excellent in every way. Highly recommend

This woman has no business in the health care field. She discharged my 85 year old father who can not walk and has limited to almost no use of his hands, home alone. He had been in and out of that hospital for falling numerous times in the previous month alone. I tried to explain to her there wasnt anyone who could be with him at that time, and I didnt think it was safe for him. I say try because she was screaming over me on the phone that I'm a child and he doesn't need my permission to go home. That It's not her problem, it's a family issue. Needless to say he fell again and was back in the emergency room less than 12hrs later. She may not have a legal obligation to safely discharge a patient , but she certainly had an ethical one. As far as I'm concerned this women doesn't have an ounce of decency in her body and is a disgrace to the medical profession.

Dr. Madigan was rude, aggressive and uninterested in considering relevant family member knowledge of the patient in her care plan. I use the word care loosely as she did not demonstrate an interest in caring for our family member. Dr. Maldigan is not a medical professional I would trust to provide care for me or anyone for whom I care.

Had a terrible experience with this doctor. She is rude and so unprofessional. She likes to hear herself talk, at the expense of her patient. Saratoga Hospital is a wonderful hospital, but if this doctor is on the rotation I would ask for another provider. She has no bedside manner and is not a caring individual.

This doctor is horrendous. She won't listen, she won't let you say a word, she talks over you. She doesn't listen to a single thing you say but will listen to people who are unrelated to your case and tell you how right they are and what you are experiencing is imagined or untrue. If she is your doctor upon your admission to Saratoga you'd be best off requesting a new doctor before she enters your room.
