Dr. Heather Ho, MD

Very pleased to know I could see a provider who isn't my regular provider in an emergency type appointment (pink eye) in such a quick manner.

Dr. Ho was dismissive of all of my health concerns because she thought I 'looked fine' on the outside. I was struggling with my mental health and needed help, but I chose to not tell her as she was cold and rude. I dont know why anyone would go back to her.

Totally happy with Dr. Ho and staff.

Dr. Ho has been providing primary healthcare to my family and self for about 10 years. She has always made us feel comfortable with the care she gave and gives..she listen well, very soft spoken, I like Dr Ho's confidence and how informative she can be, always made us feel comfortable to ask question. She always took out enough time during every visit to make sure we understood everything about what would happen or was going to happen at the time of our visit and what to expect from the care given before we left. Dr Ho is great, but the rest of the staff is deplorable. Have to wait an egregiously long time on hold to even speak with the front desk ladies who are all irascible, and short tempered. They rarely communicate the intended message accurately, have poor comprehension, and are overall very unprofessional.

I had a follow up appointment for my diabetes. Got tests run elsewhere to help with the costs. Sent them over and then the doctor simply disappeared. Had to call two weeks later to find they couldn't find the results. Directed the receptionist to one of two ways I had sent them the results. Was told that I'd hear back. Now entering the third week of silence. I don't think my condition is particularly challenging or complex, so it's baffling and upsetting to have your doctor ghost you, especially when your condition requires you to work with your medical team.

Very difficult to directly communicate with Dr. Ho. The atmosphere in the reception area is stressful and uncomfortable.

I love this lady , she is very patient & passionate. She asks a lot of important questions !

Great visit. She’s knowledgeable and friendly.

I had headache, described the situation to her, and I wanted to do more examination. I thought it was the precursor of stroke. She just listened what I said, and no comments, no suggestions, did not say anything. I have said the situation again in another visit. She eventually referred a head imaging clinic. I now figure out that it is because I drink too much coffee. She seemed nice, but I do think she has either communication problems or needs more experience.

Annual physical. Dr. Ho was up to date on my medical conditions, reports from other healthcare providers and future tests and studies. She is thorough and easy to talk to.

My visit with Dr. Ho was very thorough. She took her time responding to all of my questions and listened intently as I shared my medical history. My prescription was sent immediately to the pharmacy of my choice and referred several quality Specialists for specific healthcare follow ups I needed.

Dr. Ho has been my primary care physician for well over a decade and also provides care for my 2 children. She is always timely, professional, smiling, and caring no matter if it’s the common cold or a bigger issue. She truly cares for her patients and staff and has always provided excellent care. The Glendale clinic is lucky to have someone so knowledgeable about all areas of medics. Thanks, Dr. Ho!

Overall low engagement with me as a person. Main concern was changing medications I have been stable on from my previous provider. Preference for referrals rather than managing a stable condition with medications “because that’s clinic policy.” No critical thinking skills or willingness to explore other options of managing chronic conditions. My exam was without any feedback of findings. Was given handouts from visit and told to get labs but not which ones or why.

Our whole family sees doctor Ho. She is absolutely wonderful. She takes her time with patients and she truly cares about them. Anyone should be lucky to get an appointment with this great doctor. Anytime we have to switch insurances, I make sure she is apart of the group we choose. She is through, and makes you feel like a human. We need more doctors like her!

I saw Dr. Ho twice already - she takes time talking to you regarding your health issues. On my first GME - I opted to have a cologuard test and as a preventive health measure, it was covered by my insurance. It is our responsibility to check with our HMO for covered/ non covered benefits. I don't have any issues with her and I will highly recommend her to my friends and family. The MA and other staff are friendly as well. I find this Clinic very private and fits well with my standard of care.

I would not recommend Dr. Ho as a doctor. I went to her one time and requested an order for the cologuard test. She did not explain the implications of the cologuard and how insurance bills the test. Her lack of medical direction cost me $2600 instead of a $0 colonoscopy. I have had many friends tell me since that their doctor warned them about the cologuard test and billing. I wish Dr. Ho had done the same. I called the office twice to speak with her and she had a nurse return the call both tim
