Beware!
I saw Dr. Herbolsheimer as a new patient and was diagnosed with a vaginal infection. When the nurse called with the treatment plan she said the Dr. recommended a vaginal estrogen suppository and offered free samples. I was horrified since I have a history of estrogen positive breast cancer and was taking an estrogen blocking medication, information I provided at my visit. 3 weeks later the infection recurred with identical symptoms. 1st the Dr. told me to treat with OTC meds for a yeast infection for 10 days. I pressed her since my symptoms were not those of a yeast infection. She refused to treat me via phone. I had relocated to my winter home in FL and explained I did not have a treatment provider. I was told to go to Urgent Care which I did. I was diagnosed with the identical bacterial infection she had initially treated me for. So she was going to have me treat for something I didn’t have for 10 days allowing the infection to worsen and then refuse to treat me. Be very careful!

Dismissive and Uncaring
For over two years, I’ve reported health issues to Dr Herbolscheimer during my exams and she has shrugged, told me “things change with age” and that “social media makes people think she can help them” with perimenopausal symptoms. She seemed irritated by me listing a long list of symptoms and concerns that have been greatly affecting my life. I had a UTI and was seen by nursing staff that same day, but Dr H would not prescribe meds until labs came back 48hrs later. It was a Thursday so that meant wait until Monday. I ended up in the ER with a kidney infection that weekend. Ultimately, she’s not proactive or caring when it comes to the patient’s medical issues. She made me feel shame and unimportant in her dismissive responses to my valid concerns.

ARROGANT. RUDE. SNOB. I have 4 large fibroids (need hysterectomy), I was impressed with Dr. Herbolsheimer's background. Getting the appointment was fine; however, driving from 45 minutes away to the address provided by the office reception led me to an intersection. I called them immediately and it being 9:08 a.m. - 8 minutes late! - was told to go away as the doctor wouldn't see me. I found the office. Dr had office mngr, Lauren, call and cancel my new appt. Horrible experience with Dr. Herbolsheimer. Would not recommend her or this office. She seemed uncomfortable making recommendations or decisions for my specific conditions and was generally dismissive and rude. Walked out of my appointment without informing me of next steps or follow ups. I wasn't even sure my appointment was over! This practice was way better before one of the doctors left. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Dr. Herbolsheimer delivered my son via caesarean on June 22. The surgery went perfectly including my recovery. She did due diligence throughout the pregnancy to make certain the baby and I were healthy. She has excellent medical instincts and I look forward to returning to her for my next pregnancy!
