I met Dr Al-Andary while a patient at St Anthony Hospital. He was my hospitality and took over the cardiac care, per my request. He is so knowledgeable, kind, obviously loves his job(s) and really cares for his patients. He is professional, yet easy to talk to. He's direct and let's you know what can/may happen if you don't follow Dr's orders! I asked him while in the hospital if he was taking new patients. He wasn't, however, he took me in anyway. I'm lucky to be alive and much of it has to do with his diagnosis' and conservative treatment. Thanks, Doc!

VERY Knowledgeable
Dr. Al-Andary himself takes care of each and everyone of my health issues. Doesn’t waste anytime telling a patient what they need to do or not do regarding their health. I LOVE his direct and no beating around the bush attitude!

Very good at his job. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Al-Andary is a 5-star physician. He does not mince words. He is direct and to the point but not harshly. He is a caring individual and I will continue to visit Dr. Al-Andary as long as he is available.

Caring, Sincere, Interested
I met Dr. Al-Andary nearly 10 years ago when I was admitted to Bayfront Medical Center. I don't reside in Florida but was visiting a relative in St. Petersburg over the holidays. After another local hospital's Emergency Department dismissed and chastised me on two occasions, I felt fortunate to have Dr. Al-Andary assigned at Bayfront as my hospitalist. I told him about my acute symptoms, which were many and varied. I asked whether he believed me. He replied emphatically that he did. He told me he was my age, and he sat at my bedside and briefly recounted his prior life experience in another country. After this, I trusted him implicitly. Not many doctors are willing to share such personal information with a patient who is a total stranger. I spent 8 days in the hospital while multiple tests were run. Some of them, including a cardiac tilt table test, were abnormal. I credit Dr. Al-Andary for listening to me and believing me when others did not. Thank you.

Dr. A;l-Andary, one of the best doctors!
I met Dr. Al-Andary when I was a patient at St. Anthony's Hospital. I believe he is the Hospital Primary Care Doctor. He came into my room with a smile on his face, sat on the window sill and explained what was going on. I asked if he would please call my daughter and let her know. He called my daughter and told her what was going on. My daughter was impressed with his diagnosis and treatment plan and of course she asked him questions to which he gave answers. Although I am 92 years old, he takes an interest in my medical issues and refers me to top specialists. He even calls the doctor(s) he refers me to from the Examining Room and requests that I be seen sooner than later. He is a God Send to me and I have changed my Primary Care Doctor to Dr. Al-Andary as the only hospital I will go to when I'm ill is St. Anthony's where the Patient Care is excellent, thanks to excellent providers on staff and especially to Dr. Al-Andary.Do

Best PCP I found in Saint Petersburg
Dr.Al-Andary has a very caring ears for listening to his patients. When I have an appointment with him he knows exactly how to take care of my health issues especially when it comes to refills or referrals to see specialist m. His bedside manners are of high standards and always wears a smile, that’s why I feel comfortable for each visit and don’t dread it.

He came to my bedside while I was Hospitalized at Saint Anthony's Hospital after my Hemotologist. My hemotologist said I would be fine with rest and a few more days of iron by IV. Dr Al Andary came in 20 minutes after my Hemotologist, pronounced Death over me & then discharged me unsafely. I had a hemoglobin of 4 when he discharged me.

Rude. Abrupt. Didn’t even tell me I was being discharged or what the plan was. Changing physician group from PHC so I don’t have to encounter him as my hospitalist again.

the most inconsiderate, Dr. I have ever encountered. my husband has been on life support for29 days. I have made over 25 phone calls trying to locate this man, and as of yet got hold of him. His number has been disconnected, his answering service said they don't know who is !!! The care facility doesn't know his number!! What does this tell you about the places he is employed. GOD forbid if you have a loved one in Kindred care hospital.I have waited at the hospital for 3 different days, waited all hours to see him and he has not been to see my husband!! all though the staff said he would be there. To no avail, I am seeking a way to get my husband out of there.I will not put any star on this review,------

One of the most knowledgeable physicians who I am proud to say was my physician. I have referred many people to him and all have been happy with him. I have read some of the bad comments, it saddens me that people try to find the bad in things oppose to good. I would put my mom in his care anyday!!

I just had to read reviews on my favorite Doctor, Dr. Hazem Al Andary. It is understandable that people are not at their best when they are sick or caring for a loved one. We are all human and have good and bad days. That be as it may, there is no excuse for being rude and obnoxious to professionals trying to help you. I have seen several instances of this during a couple visits to PHC on Central. I have 100% faith in Dr. Hazem and the excellent staff at PHC. Don Robinson
