Exorbitant fees at his new ( newer) place. Excellent Dr. but not sure we can continue to see him at this location.Had 2 telehealth appointments and 1 short in person visit.

Compassionate and down to earth!
I worked with Dr Maksvytis over 28 years ago and at that time I witnessed his knowledge and his compassion towards his patients. I became ill 25 years ago and chose him as my doctor. He truly is a champion for the patient and continues to be just as compassionate and down to earth as always!

One in a million Doctor!
Dr Maksvytis is the first Doctor I met that addresses even the concerns you didn't know you had! He cares, listens and takes care not only of your symptoms but the root of the problem. He is an "old-school" doctor that prefers looking at your eyes while talking instead to a monitor. He is simply the best, one in a million!

I have never had a doctor spend more time with me. Most do 3-5. Dr. Maks spent at least 15 mins with me. I had a list of questions and was prepared, so it went great. I am glad I found him.

Hey, Tucson. Want a pill pushing doctor that doesn't ask questions? This is your guy! My wife is addicted to pills, has been to rehab, and even tried to kill herself while high on pills. Maksvytis doesn't care though and keeps prescribing them to her. Thank God for doctors like him. Without him, pill-heads would have a hard time finding their fix.

I have been a patient of Dr Maks for more than 10 years...he is patient, kind, caring, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of medicine....I have tried to refer several clients, but because he's so good, no one ever leaves....

His staff is unresponsive, surly, does not respond to phone calls, and disengaged. While Dr. Max used to be terrific, his engagement has decreased over the past couple of years. Find a different PCP -- we did. He is Big on prescribing yet one more medication (addictive or not) rather than refer to specialists.

I have lived in Tucson my whole life (63 yrs.) and Dr. Maksvytis is the best Primary Care Physician I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and never rushes. His office runs on time. His office staff is well-managed and always friendly and professional. In this day and age, I am so grateful to have found Dr. Macsvytis as my physician. Rare indeed!
