Dr. Harry Sharata, MD

Two things stood out to me on my visit. First thing was that he is about the nicest person on the planet. But there is more to it than being nice. Not discounting what the patient has said while trying to understand the patient and getting to the bottom of things. I felt like I had to qualify everything I said. When everything was said and done I had regrets going there. He went through the motions of taking a picture but never shared them with me to address my concerns. And then said everything looks normal and then I get a $162.00 bill. That IMO is BS. Dr. Sharata rates higher as a skin care dermatologist; but what I was addressing had nothing to do with that issue. On my issue I give him a one.

Dr. Sharata and his whole office staff and nurses were professional, friendly and caring. I was very anxious when I arrived, by the time I left I was feeling relieved and relaxed. Thank you for the wonderful care and amazing sense of humor!

My former PCP at THE major medical center misdiagnosed a scalp condition. My current PCP at a competing medical center caught the mistake and sent me to Dr. Sharata for proper diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Sharata and his delightful staff treated me like a real live person, not a specimen, correctly identified the condition, prescribed treatment that finally helped. On a follow up visit Dr. Sharata addressed an unrelated skin condition and advised me on OTC products. He and his staff are friendly, warm, inviting, encourage questions and are eager to provide lots and lots of valuable information. He has a warm inviting smile and a twinkle in his eye that imbues confidence. I cannot say enough about him and am so very happy I found him.

Dr. Sharada is an honest doctor who truly cares for his patients. He was the only professional who helped me with a rare problem when no one else did. Efficient staff are friendly and non judgemental as well.

Dr. Sharata was rude, condescending, disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unhelpful in addressing my situation. The nurse had no hint of a caring personality whatsoever and the PA barged into the room twice, once while I had no pants/shirt in place. I will never return to this clinic. And I see that the majority of people here reviewing Dr. Sharata were very satisfied with their care. I'm glad. My experience does not take away from those experiences; just like their experiences do not make my experience any less negative.

I have seen many dermatologists in my venture and he is absolutely the best! Nothing else to say!!

Explains, educates, listens to his patients. Gives options to patient based on well explained facts, giving the patient the knowledge necessary to make their own educated medical decision.

Couldn't be happier with the supportive, effective, and respectful treatment I've received from Dr. Sharata over the past several years. I would give him six stars if I could.

Wow, I read positive reviews about him so I drove an hour and a half to see him. It was truly worth it! I have never been so "listened to" and "educated" before. Dr Sharata shows a genuine interest, completes the task, gives respect and referrals. He uses a PA to assist him. She was excellent too. He handles many people with cancer so my minor concerns seemed insignificant. He never made me feel silly about asking questions though. I was so surprised at how long he sat and talked with me.

Dr. Sharata treats my 80+-year-old mother. He is always very patient and spends the time to go over instructions with her multiple times, when she's confused. (Which is also why I tag along to her appointments.) He is a very caring physician. I would highly recommend his practice.

I can't say enough! I needed a dermatological procedure and he was able to complete it on the first visit. I scheduled a late afternoon appointment and he entered the room with so much energy and enthusiasm, I immediately felt trust. He reviewed my medical history, explained the procedure and completed it efficiently. His staff were pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Sharata.

This is the 3rd time I have seen Dr. Sharata over the years. First for my son's bad case of planters warts and secondly for my daughter's moles on her back. This time it was for a wart growing in the corner of my left eye. I was very pleased with Dr. Sharata each time, his personal care and interest, his expertise and willingness to decrease the cost as we are a self pay family. He took off an additional wart on my daughter's back for free and "zapped" a birthmark on my face for free as well.

I've been going to Dr Sharata for years and he is always very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I totally trust Dr. Sharata and actually enjoy my visit even though a skin cancer check is sort of a stressful situation.

Dr Sharata Is so knowledgeable & caring always smiling ?? Is a wealth of information. He can recognize something needing addressed when you probably didn't come in for that. Came for unknown sore on nose, within 5 minutes he told me what the problem was, what he would be doing, when he would start, and what the likely outcome would be. A biopsy was taken.
