Dr. McCoy was very knowledgeable & I trusted him completely with his diagnosis & treatment plan. He was so personable & easy to talk to! We need more like him that will take time to listen to the patient. A pleasure to have been his patient. Thank you!

Dr. McCoy has been gone since he retired in February. I would like to see his replacement soon.

I would recommend Blue Ridge Cancer Care as Dr. McCoy is now retired. I had a series of good experiences with Dr. McCoy and all of BRC support personnel. They were considerate of my time and feelings during the stressful time of dealing with cancer. They always took the time to fully explain test results and care options.

Always treated with respect and was shown that I was cared about. I truly believe if not for Dr. McCoy, I would not be a survivor

Dr. McCoy is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the cancer you have. He is a very nice gentleman and doctor. Me and my daughter think the world of him.

In 2005 I had breast cancer. Dr. McCoy explained why I needed chemotherapy. I was so afraid. He gave me peace and assurance . He always took the time to show me kindness and anything I needed relative to treatments. In my opinion he’s the best. Thanks for being there for me.

I was one of the first patients when Dr. McCoy began his practice here in the New River valley. He has been - and always will be - the most caring physician I have ever seen. I first met him for a hematology issue. Years later, I had to see him for NHL. He truly saved my life and my family and I will forever be grateful. I/We wish him the very best in his retirement, and will miss him terribly.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. McCoy. He was my husband that passed January 2019 and also my doctor. I cannot say enough good about Dr. McCoy, he is the most caring, sincere doctor, person that I know. He actually takes time to listen to his patients and care about how they are feeling. He can NEVER be replaced. I praise him in every area. The whole staff at Blue Ridge Cancer in Blacksburg, VA is so comforting and really care about their patients, you are not just another number. His faith is overwhelming and helps a lot of patients get through their dark days. My husband truly loved him and we both respect him very much.
