Doctor does NOT care about patients.

Dr. Chen has been my teenage daughters PCP for several years. She hasn’t been sick, ever really. So has never really been seen for anything but physicals. Today she was seen for an illness, she unfortunately was COVID positive. The first this man says is “take your mask off, I don’t believe in wearing masks, the government spreads lies saying you need to wear them, but you don’t, let me see your throat”. He proceeds to examine my daughter and informs her you have a severe throat infection and a sinus infection I can give you a shot of antibiotics or oral and some other medication. I asked if he would order a PCR test to confirm the two rapid tests she took. He said “ I don’t believe in the testing practices, they don’t work, she doesn’t have COVID, it’s not real”. I was personally offended. I’ve worked on COVID units and have seen people die from this disease. My daughter and I both walked out. She was seen at a different facility. And a PCR was done to confirm.

Dr. Chen is my family Doctor, he is always very thorough and on top of things. He makes you feel sure and comfortable and it is very easy to talk to and will answer all of your questions, if you have doubts going in once you leave you will be at ease knowing all your questions were answered. His staff is also amazing I have been going to see him since my second born and will follow him until he retires.

Very unhappy and feel due to his negligence i now have to endure further complications regarding my health. His response to the complaint i filed against him further shows how he needs to be investigated. He submitted a report that was false to my health insurance as well as to medical board officials.

Dr Chen has been seeing my dad, who is 90 years old. My dad enjoys that fact that he listens with patience and does not rush. He has treated dad for an leg infection & cut & prostate issues. Dad is well from his leg womb & his prostate problems have improved.
