Dr Lawson was great to have as a primary. He actively listened and suggested tests that were age appropriate. Where is he located now ?

I’ve been seeing Dr Lawson for 6 or 7 years now. He’s the most caring, knowledgable and nicest doctor I’ve ever had. Definitely 5 stars, but 10 if it was possible!

I can summarize all of my visits since Dr. Lawson became my physician. Professional, attentive and pro-active. I appreciate that he remains on the cutting edge regarding treatments and medicine. I never felt rushed but cared for as a patient and human being. These are attributes that many of my colleagues and friends desire in a doctor but say at times it is difficult to find.

This man was born to be a caregiver. He takes time for his patients and isn't worried about making money every fifteen minutes. I consider him a personal friend and because of that I have complete trust in him. That in itself is healing. If pastoral care along with medicine is what you are looking for....this is the doctor

I am a 68 yr old woman who recently moved to Richmond. In Feb I was treated at an urgent care center for pneumonia and told I should see an internist because my chest X-ray was abnormal. I have lost 15 pounds since then and developed severe night sweats. I became so ill that it was all I could manage to go to the grocery store. My daughter made an appointment with Dr. Lawson for me. She told me it was at 2:45 last Tues. when I arrived, the receptionist took my insurance cards and gave me forms to fill out. Then she informed me that my appt time had actually been 2:15 and. Now the doctor would not be able to see me & his next appt time would be in August! I told her I was sick and could not wait 3 months to be seen, but!shejust shrugged. What a callous practice! Now I will have to try find a doctor who actually cares about his patients and treats them.

Dr. Lawson is fantastic. I've been seeing him for about a year now, and he has been extremely courteous and kind every time. He takes his time with me and is eager to answer additional questions and concerns. Great guy, great doctor.

A great Primary Care Physician! Dr Lawson is obviously knowledgeable, experienced, caring, and a good communicator. His staff is superior and the office is run very efficiently.

I have seen Dr. Lawson twice when I was unable to see my regular internist. Dr. Lawson has a great personality, quick, warm smile, and took the time to listen thoroughly to me and explain the reasons for his diagnosis. I thought he was wonderful!
