Dr. Harold Brandt, MD

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Brandt for the final 8 years of his career. After having my prior PCP at BR Clinic churn me through in under 10 minute visits he was a breath of fresh air with his compassion and genuine concern; I was not part of his “profit wheel”. I wish him all the best in his retirement!

I cannot express how thankful I am to have Dr. Brandt as my PCP. He is the absolute best doctor ever! His bedside manner is superb and he is so full of information. I love how in tune he is with mental health and his sincere care is unmatched! I look forward to my appointments!

I have been his patient for almost 30 years. I am going to miss him when he retires next month. First of all he is brilliant and doesn’t miss anything. He is caring,compassionate, and takes his time when he is seeing you. He has big shoes to fill, I do not know if anyone can do that

Dr Brandt saved my life. He is the most dedicated and compassionate provider I’ve ever had. I met him at a time I’d given up on MDs and relied mainly on ER situations before seeking medical assistance. I’m an African-American male. I’ve had many toxic interactions with MDs that neither listened nor cared about my experience of pain. Oftentimes I believed the MDs I’ve seen saw me like so many others see AA men, less than and unworthy of care. Dr Brandt pulled me into his office and on day 1, did a thorough biopsychosocial that helped me see my pain was mainly psychogenic. I’d begun exhibiting severe PTSD Sx without realizing it. Even though I was eating healthier than I’d ever been before than, I was suffering from the onset of Hypertension and Borderline Diabetes Mellitus. My stress was killing me. Had Dr Brandt not shown the compassion he did on that day, I wouldn’t have trusted him with my life. And because I trusted him, I have my life back. The man is a hero.

my anticipations are always great when I’m scheduled to bring my elderly parents in for their follow up visits. Dr. Brandt displays great respect and humility for my parents and he gives the best observation and care to their needs. I was blessed and my parents very blessed to be under the watch care of such a great and caring physician! May God bless his life always??
