Dr. Chandra Is Excellent!
Dr. Chandra is caring and an excellent cardiologist. My husband and I go both to him. He listens, takes time with our concerns, orders appropriate tests before appointments, and even has a sense of humor about our heart health trials and tribulations. He is most polite and easy to work with. We trust Dr. Chandra and highly recommend him!

First visit with Dr. Chandra and last. Was referred to the practice by my PCP for a second opinion and Dr. Chandra had all of my medical history before he met with me. The doctor clearly had not looked at any of the testing that had been done nor any of the other medical information he had available to him even though he was holding it in his hand. He only met with me for about 10 minutes and then prescribed the wrong blood pressure medication for me. Did not know it was the wrong one until I picked it up at pharmacy . No second opinion was given and the doctor just said to return in 6 months. His assistant was a pleasure to meet and was the only good thing about the whole terrible experience.

Dr. Chandra consulted on me while I was hospitalized, he is the worse! he does not listen and often answers questions with I don't know, he even prescribed medicine I can't take without consulting me while in the hospital. He even told me when I was being discharged that I had no restrictions and when I told him the hospitalist released me with restriction he just kind of shrugged his shoulders. When I met with him for follow-up he referred me to one of his partners, total of waste of my time

Had my first visit today since relocating from Texas. Very pleasant and easy experience. I left happy and feeling good about the level of care. His Medical assistant Sara Majeed was the best and very thorough and caring.

I HAD been a patient of Dr. Chandra's for over 7 years, with his having done a heart cath, echocardiogram, stress tests, etc. On September 25, I went to my PCP complaining of leg weakness and SOB. After doing an EKG, and chest x-ray, he suggested seeing my cardiologist as soon as possible. I proceeded to call Dr. Chandra's office early on Monday morning. I was told that someone would get back to me to schedule a time to be seen. Even with my PCP calling, I was not able to get a timely appt

Don't risk your health!! I would NOT recommend Chandra for anyone as he put my husband's health at risk by prescribing the wrong medication for his high cholesterol and not explaining the test results. My husband's family doctor explained the test results that indicated abnormalities in the left lower quadrant of his heart and that a heart cath. is necessary to diagnose and treat his condition. Find a cardiologist who cares about patients and knows how to treat them.

HORRIBLE.I gave him multiple chances for adequate care.He nearly killed me.HE insisted in being in charge of my blood pressure meds not my PCP.He did not listen to my protest of very hard to control blood pressure and bad experiences with other meds or allergies. He changed my medicine anyway and then DID NOT RETURN MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS about it not working until I complained about chest pain and even then a physicians assistant return the calls. After all that they charged me $25 for my records.
