Dr. Hari Kannam, MD

Dr. Kannam performed both my coronary angioplasty to implant a stent in a closed artery and the TAVR procedure to replace a malfunctioning valve in my heart. Two weeks after the TAVR procedure, I can already feel the difference. Dr. Kannam was very professional and knowledgeable in all my interactions with him. I highly recommend Dr. Kannam!

Only wants the easy to diagnose patients that he can make big bucks off of them! Does not listen to his patients concerns! If it is a difficult to diagnose patient, and no imediate monitery gain he blows you off!

If I could leave a zero rating I would. This Doctor is what all other negative reviews entail. He trained under some incredible cardiologist’s in Detroit but I believe he left his skills he acquired at the door. Stay away if at all possible.

We met Dr Kannam 2 years ago after retiring and moving to citrus county, my husband was having chest pains and we went to Citrus Memorial hospital, all the test showed he was ok but Dr Kanaam decided to do a heart cath, he found and repaired a blockage. We have since had several more visits to the ER where we met others from his group, all are among the BEST of the best. Dr. Kannam is kind, caring and patient. He has never rushed through an office visit. He answers all of our questions and we have always left his office or hospital knowing that we were treated by the best! I can not thank you enough Dr Kannam for all that you have done for my husband.

I recently had a TVAR procedure done, and I have no doubt Dr. Kannam saved my life on 08/15/2023 as I was headed for HF due to the Severe Aortic Stenosis, I was diagnosed with in hospital. And I can't thank him enough for his Expertise and Knowlege for the level of care he has given to me. From the procedure to post op. It's so wonderful to breathe again with ease! He treated my mother recently for a heart Valve, he was absoltely amazing. Very informative always pleasant. We were never kept waiting, he was very prompt, he treated my elderly mother with care and compassion, I have no doubt he saved her life.

With aortic stenosis, my prognosis was not good, probably ending with congestive heart failure at some point in time. After a heart catheter and a number of tests it was determined I was a candidate for TAVR procedure. Meeting with TAVR team, doctors, and given much documentation about what all was involved I decided to have the TAVR procedure. Dr Hari Kannam was one of surgeons and in my opinion was knowledgeable and self assuring to me and I felt confident of his capabilities.

Is it went vey well. We discussed previous problems. He also set up an appointment for a Doppler of my left leg as I was having pain in my left leg when walk. Espeshily whe I walk up-hill. He was very complete with thecheckUp as well as being very professional.

I am a 76 year old 25 year Navy Veteran and In my opinion Dr. Kannam is the top Doctor I've ever have ever seen. He is efficient, courteous, professional and meticulous in his every dealing with patients and staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Kannam to everyone needing a Cardiologist. He's the best.

He asked me about all of my heart problems and when he got the wrong answers from me, he realized that he had the wrong file. He acts as if he is doing you a favor by answering your questions--- and his answers are not informative.

Not impressed. Poor bedside Manner and did not communicate very well. Left many things unexplained and when questioned seemed to be put out. Based on what was in test reports his conclusions and recommended treatments seem to be questionable.

It is painful to see someone performing a job that they obviously hate doing. Dr Kannam recently performed a cardiac cath for me. I found him to be arrogant,judgemental,and abrupt. The procedure went well,but it could have felt sooo much better with just a touch of bedside manner.

No a likeable person,not trustworthy cannot talk to him

He is the most unfriendly & meany person ever I have seen . I do not know why he became a doctor who must take of care people in sick and dreadful situations
