Dr Hertzog was always on time pre-op, the procedure and post-op, unlike most physician visits where there is a significant wait time. The doctor and staff kept appointments in timely fashion. Dr. Hertzog was friendly and knowledgeable, providing good information on my visual impairment (cataracts) and what would be done to address the matter in surgery.

Dr Hertzog and staff perhaps have the most efficient, friendly and professional team I have ever experienced in a medical office. For my cataract surgery, I felt I could trust him in helping to make the choice of lens to get the most improved vision. I had worn progressive glasses for at least 25 years! Dr. Herzog is experienced, kind, patient, warm but professional, and he explains things very well so you know what to expect. I have had several eye docs and he is the best. I was recommended to Hertzog Eye Care by a friend. Dr Hertzog is very professional and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and efficient. I came through the surgery with flying colors. My vision is restored! I opted for lense replacement so I no longer have to wear contacts or glasses.

After reading the bio of Dr. Dieter Hertzog, I knew I was in good hands. My eyes were just bad enough to qualify for insurance coverage which was nice. When I learned that I could have my cloudy, old lenses replace with shiny new ones, I was all in even though the new, upgraded lenses themselves were not covered. There is a range of possible replacements but the total for those I selected was about $5,700. I penciled it out and after purchasing all my various, necessary glasses for the next 6-8 years, I would break even. And, the newly implanted lenses will last forever. Sold! Their staff is on time, courteous and efficient. Dr. Dieter is clam, usually ahead of schedule (honestly), explains everything well, and is very, very good at specifying the exact prescription for the replacement lenses you need. The surgery couldn't have been easier, was completely painless and the recovery was only one 'resting' day. I feel as though I've gotten an incredible gift and I am extremely grateful.

I had a younger age cataract in one eye and chose to go to Dr. Dieter Hertzog. I was impressed with his reviews and being a 5th generation eye doctor. My vision was terrible, he recommended I get a specialty toric lens which fixes astigmatism too. I got my lens replaced yesterday and now I have 20/20 vision. It is getting clearer by the hour. He is an excellent surgeon and explained everything during the operation as well as being so nice. I am super grateful. Everyone in the office is great as well and they make things feel personal. We have had multiple visits and experiences with Dr Hertzog and the Eye Care staff. All of our visits have exceeded our expectations. Dr Hertzog is a wonderful clinician. The staff are friendly, organized and very efficient. The office is nicely appointed and comfortable. Dr Hertzog removed my husbands cataracts recently and that process was well orchestrated. I came to find out that Ophthalmologist is the family business, and it shows. Dr. Hertzog has proven to me to be the best there is.
