I trust Dr Rashid with my RA. I am sad he no longer is with AARA. I would have him as my DR if I knew where he is working.

Dismissive with no empathy
My appointment with Dr. Rashid was short, he did not seem to want to listen to my health issues. Implied that I had anxiety and that was my issue even though I had been referred by several doctors to see a rheumatologist. He only wanted to discuss what my referral was specifically for and not listen to the whole picture. I've never felt more dismissed and ignored by a doctor. He even asked why I was even there even though I was clearly in pain and very inflamed throughout my body. I'm glad I sought treatment elsewhere after this horrible appointment so I can receive the treatment I actually needed.

What really sets Dr. Rashid apart from many other physicians, beyond his extensive medical knowledge, is his intentional interactions with patients and genuine interest in their well-being. During my appointments with Dr. Rashid I truly feel like he is treating me as the human in front of him and not just the symptoms that I present with. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs a great rheumatologist.
