Thorough
I am shocked at all the negative reviews. I find Dr. Hulinska to be professional, thorough, friendly and extremely helpful. She sits with me, listens to my questions and concerns. She offers helpful feedback and has my RA in complete control. I would absolutely recommend her!!

Doesn't care about patients, mean office staff
The office staff from the start was condescending with letting me know how important and busy they are, unable to book an appointment for two months even though my primary care provider asked I be seen quickly due to concerning blood results. Dr Hulinska does not offer telehealth and packs her schedule, making it impossible to get an appointment when you need one. Dr Hulinska was condescending, just as other reviewers said. I completed the bloodwork and couldn't get a follow up visit for 6 weeks. The Dr or her office never called about my results. My primary care dr was concerned about the results and asked me to be seen sooner, and they refused. The doctor is too important to call patients with bloodwork results. Her office staff does not care about people at all. The office was dirty, they don't have a lot of staff working there at all- no support staff such as nurses or APRN's. The way they neglect patients, someone is going to get hurt. For your safety, stay away.

Unprofessional and not willing to listen
She is very quick to get you out of the room. She doesn’t want to have a conversation. Visited 3 plus times for a knee injury. I think she was within 5 feet of my knee for about 90 seconds total in those 3 plus visits. Not willing to go the next step or show any sense of feelings, care or human feelings. I would avoid if possible. There have to be better doctors in the area. I won’t be back

Like others have said, Dr. Hulsinka is abrupt and has a poor bedside manner. She couldn't figure out my dx based on bloodwork on my first visit w/her (after seeing her colleague the previous appointment). Then has the nerve to yell at me that I didn't tell her about a dx from my GI when it was clearly in my record which she obviously didn't review appropriately. She prescribed a med which my insurance denied. My next visit with her shortly after the denial she insisted she wasn't the one who prescribed the med and that I had to go to my GI to have him appeal the denial. The GI then told me that is was Dr. Hulsinka that prescribed it! After leaving a msg informing her that SHE had prescribed the med and needed to appeal the denial for me with insurance, I heard nothing and no appeal was made. That was more than a month ago! Needless to say, I'm going to be changing doctors!

Just looking for relief from my pain in Middlebury, CT – Feb 16, 2024

Wow! I've read through some of the other reviews. I have to admit, the bulk of the negative reviews were SPOT ON!! I walked out of her office wondering what had gone wrong. She came across as judgemental, dismissive and somewhat condescending. I find myself feeling a bit relieved that my experience with Dr. Hulinska was not unique in anyway.

Does Not Allow For Grace Time
I have been a patient for over 5 years. The Doctor books her patients so tightly together every 20 minutes so if you are a bit late you will not be seen and you will.pay a late fee/no show penalty. Go somewhere that cares about the patient.

Dr. Hulinska has been my Dr for several years. She’s very knowledgeable. She make sure all your tests are done before she put you on a medication. I like that she’s very thorough. She hasn’t been very kind to me. Can’t say enough good about her

She was all over the place with suggestion of a DX, told me I did not have arthritis, when all the tests came back and said I did, does not return calls and wants an appt to discuss labs. She refused to to telehealth, staff stated she did not know how. Miss communication from the get go

Terrible patronizing unhelpful physician unable or unwilling to hear or understand my complaints. No help from this "specialist"... Going back to my primary care provider for better advice on my rheumatological disorder.

I saw Dr. Hulinska in Middlebury,Ct yesterday. I found her to be without compassion, empathy, or respect. She offered me no help, and I feel she mocked me. As a nurse, I was appalled. As a patient, I was devastated. I would not recommend her.

I was sent to Dr Hulinska by my primary doctor after some wonky bloodwork. After more testing, Dr Hulinska found that I have an autoimmune disease causing my issues. She is understanding, knowledgeable, and caring. The initial appointment she seemed a little rushed when asking questions when I was going through my symptoms, but never rushed me out of the office, was never dismissive of my problems, concerns, questions or worries. Her office staff is great also.

The worst doctor I have ever seen, no bedside manners at all. She didn't even spend any time asking questions or about my concerns. When my test results came back normal, she said it's psychosomatic and there is nothing she can do. She told me to ignore my symptoms and to keep a positive attitude towards life ! I would not recommend her to anyone!

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. If your bloodwork comes back mostly normal, you will get told that you need to start having a better outlook on life. "Maybe focus on the positives and not these...symptoms.." Totally unprofessional condescending. If you want to be treated like a hypochondriac and talked down to they will gladly accept your payment!
