Dr. Hamid Hosseini, MD

After I was admitted to the UCLA hospital due to sever eye infection which made my left eye to go blind in less than four hours. Dr. Hamid Hosseini from Jules Stein and his staff were assigned to my care. I stayed at the hospital for over a week for them to run every possible test to reveal the source of the problem. Finally, after two weeks without finding any cause and when my eye had calm down Dr. Hosseini with his team proceeded to vitrectomy surgery at UCLA Jules Stein. The surgery was very successful. They also removed my natural lens to be replaced later when my eye settles down. Couple of weeks later Dr. Hosseini detected retinal detachment and scare tissues on the retina on the same eye. I went through another surgery with Dr. Hosseini which he removed all the scare tissues and cleaned all the membrane created between the eye wall and retina and reattached the retina. Now I can see but blurry due to lack of natural lens. When my eye is healed, he will remove the oil and insert
