Dr. Haleigh Emerson, MD

They kept me waiting 35 minutes for my appointment, but the nurse assistant who brought me back didn’t apologize when I told her how long I’d been waiting. She just said, “Yeah, she’s running late. You’re the last patient of the day.” I waited a beat to see if she would add those two magic words and when she didn’t, I said, “Don’t you guys apologize anymore?” She said sorry, I said thank you and thought it was over. I never raised my voice or spoke harshly. I just wanted basic courtesy.When Dr. Emerson came in, she proceeded to lecture me about being more sensitive to her staff. She said it was her job and not her staff’s to apologize for running late and she was going to “stand up” for the nurse assistant. I was in shock and told her I couldn’t believe she was making such a big deal about two words. She said I was the one who was making it a big deal and I could call Tanner’s Patient Advocate if I had a problem.

After years of trying to find a Dr. who was caring and thorough, I finally found Haleigh a couple years ago and have been very happy with all she's done for me! I feel heard and cared about with her. The wait times can sometimes be long, but that's probably because she's thorough and attentive to every patient. I would recommend her to everyone!

She is attentive and wants to make sure everything for your health possibly is done. She will call you personally with questions or results.
