Dr. Hadi Najafian, DO

Every visit with Dr. Najafian was a pleasure. He gives you his complete attention. He sits and looks at you while actually listening to you. He is easy to talk to and will make you feel comfortable about your situation and worries. He is quick to smile and even laugh with you. His professional side is seriously caring and compassionate. His knowledge base is abundant and it shows in his attention to detail. He always takes his time to answer any and all questions. He is one of the very best doctors I have seen during an extremely difficult time in my life. I will be forever grateful for his part in my healthcare and healing during this past year. Thank you Dr. Najafian for your kindness, support and professionalism.

These were the words of my referring GI Doc. and I agree. Dr. Najafian was attentive, knowledgable, thorough, professional, kind and put my husband and I at ease and we were un-rushed, as we asked questions and made decisions regarding my bowel resection. I am a nurse of 50 years and I can be a tough customer. Everything concerning my surgery went smoothly and I saw him daily in the hospital. In my follow up visit he explained the surgery and how I should change any of my dietary habits and activities of daily life to maintain a healthy bowel. I highly recommend Dr. Najafian and his wonderful office staff.

Dr. Najafian performed robotic surgery on me two weeks ago. I highly recommend him to anyone needing colorectal surgery. He thoroughly explained the surgery and saw me everyday when I was in the hospital. I saw him yesterday for my two week checkup and he again explained what he had done and discussed how I proceed to full recovery. I would highly recommend him and St Joseph’s Westgate Hospital. I think the doctor, the nurses and the entire staff were exceptional.

On two separate occasions, Dr. Najafian removed some internal hemorrhoids by banding. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made and am so glad I finally had it done. While it is definitely not a pleasant experience, it was nowhere near what I was afraid it would be. Excellent care by both Dr. Najafian and his staff!

Dr. Najafian is so personable that he makes me feel like a personal friend of his. He listened to my problems with concern and answered my questions so that I could understand. I would recommend him to anyone who has this type of problem!

My experience with Dr. Najafhein has spanned so far over 2 years. He has been responsive to my concerns and has been great on redirecting me on the overall and important issues instead of me focusing on the trivial or not relevant information that effects my overall outcome. I have found his staff to be pleasant and responsive as well.

He is the best surgeon in the west valley. I thought I had to go to Scottsdale but I was wrong. He explains everything to you and is a very nice,respectable doctor.

It was great because I have had problems with other doctors about taking care of my hemorrhoid but Dr N was straight forward and banded it up and took care of my hemorrhoid with little discomfort. He is kind and caring just like the rest of the staff was.

The best doctor for any colon issues. I had a colon resection 3 years ago to remove a section that contained diverticulitis that had been causing me trouble for quite some time. Dr, Nahafian explained everything and took time to listen to my concerns. Very pleased with the outcome.

The consultation was fair, simple and the MD made it very easy to understand the diagnosis & procedure of the medical condition. His staff was friendly, and professional. I had surgery to remove cancer in my colon The doctor is very customer focused and I was informed all along the way from beginning to end. He answered all of my questions and had a very pleasant bedside manner. I had robotic surgery and was more than pleased with my results which contained very little pain.

Considering the potiential seriousness of my condition it turns out that the robotic surgery I received was my best choice. Dr Najafian is very good at this. My recovery is faster than I expected as well.

My surgery for diverticulitis issues was in Sept. 2017. Dr. Najafian took the time to explain the procedure, which he did robotically as well as the recovery process. I highly recommend Dr. Najafian because of his professionalism, knowledge, and experience, as well as his compassion. Additionally, the nurses, and staff at St. Joseph Westgate were outstanding in the care provided.

I Love this Doctor ....Beyond. He is heads up the best in the country . I have told everyone that needs anything in his area to run to him...He will take care of you. If I could sit in his office and tell everyone he is the best I would. He has performed 2 surgeries on me and I am 63 . I have had no surgeries since 1989 so I was soo scared. He does not listen to you or explain what's going on. Flat out he just doesn't CARE about helping you find a solution or at least lead you in the right direction to help you find solution. The best is he was telling me the most common symptoms which weren't the symptoms I was having.

Dr. Najafian is truly amazing! I had a fistula and major infection caused from diverticulitis and had gone to several doctors prior to him. After leaving the first exam I knew he was the one. He spends a lot of time going over things with you and answers all of your questions, he deserves to be a top doc in Arizona for sure. I had to have open surgery, temp illiostomy bag and he walked me through all of it. I feel he saved my life with how sick I was. What an excellent surgeon !!

Last October I had colon cancer and resection done by Dr. Najafian. I cannot tell you enough what a great doctor he is. He explains all the details and listens to all of the patients concerns. I have been lucky considering everything. I should have wrote this review before now but I do put things off. Thanks again Dr. Najafian.

Dr. Najafian first saw me in the hospital following a bout of diverticulitis (not my first). After working with him, I understand how he has earned his outstanding reputation. Despite the severity of my condition at that time, he counseled patience and felt that we could manage my condition conservatively at that point.
