Top Caring Physician
Being a patient of Dr Menga brings peace of mind. I've been an established patient for approximately 4 yrs & over that time she has exceeded in all areas of my expectations. From my first diagnosis of RA - she explained and ensured me of how I would be able to incorporate RA and not let it hinder my lifestyle, goals, etc. Today, I still thrive at all I do and RA is simply something I take care of as a daily routine like brushing my teeth. At every visit, she & the staff exhibit professionalism, empathy, and a genuine 'we're here to help attitude'. I highly recommend Dr Menga to individuals that seek this type of healthcare.

Never felt my treatment was individualized. Any treatment (s) that Arthritis Foundation suggested was just as effective but with less damaging side effects always fell on deaf ears.

Dr. Menga ordered about $3000 worth of blood tests and x-rays that were unnecessary. She didn't listen to what I needed. The medication I was taking was causing major side effects and she just increased the dosage. It was waisted money and time! I'll have to go to a different Dr. to get any help!

Still in pain in The Woodlands – Aug 07, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Menga?
I began seeing Dr. Menga after having problems with my original rheumatologist. After my initial tests on the first appointment, Dr. Menga diagnosed me and began a new treatment plan for R/A. My symptoms and pain have decreased substantially! Dr. Menga and her staff are very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. I have whole heartedly endorsed and recommended Dr. Menga to any of my freinds and will continue to in the future.

I have been seeing Dr Menga even when she was at her other office. Her and the ladies in the office are very nice and efficient. Dr Menga has my RA controlled and I am finally off steroids THANK GOD. Also I was in the room getting my Iv when the young lady had to get stuck 9 times and Dr Menga does not stick the patient, the nurse does. The young lady told the nurse she has always had trouble with Iv’s and asked the nurse to keep trying. Some people just want to complain about everything.

My daughter was her patient. She was stuck 9 times on her last infusion. The doctor refused her a port again saying she was too young. (24). She’s too young for RA too and for doctors who don’t care! Dr. Menga refused to see her again! What she didn’t know was we had already found another doctor. I am sick of doctors who don’t have empathy and don’t listen to their patients! 9 sticks is too much... her veins are shot!

I have been having pain and inflammation on my left side all the way to my left foot for over one year. The prior doctors ran all type of test from vein flow to kidney and heart conditions. All coming back negative and not helping my pain at all. Dr. Menga ordered an MRI and with my 2nd visit had found my problem. It was a bulged disk which was causing all the issues. All this time, I had been in pain thinking it was an old ankle injury.

Staff is great, the doctor not so much. I went in to be seen for pain from head to toe. Obviously some type of arthritis that has affected my daily living. I've been trying to figure out what this is for months. When i explained my symptoms she looked at me stupid. As if she did not believe me or something? I appreciate doctors who take my concerns seriously and she did not. The only reason i am still with her is because i am waiting for some test to come back. I will be searching for a new doc.

Most thoughtful Dr I have seen in years. Dr Menga took time to ask questions and listen to my responses, I have been looking for what was causing me to feel bad for years, In 10 days Dr had diagnosed me and started a treatment plan. I have not felt the well in years. Great staff that treats me like a customer not a bother.. Great care!

Dr. Menga is fantastic. She allows you to ask questions until you run out of them - even moms can ask questions ad nauseam! She explains things well, and really listens. She took the time to hear that my daughter was interested in a more aggressive treatment option that generally sees improvement of symptoms in weeks rather than months like the typical first line of treatment. This was important because my daughter recently graduated from college and she was eager to get into the workplace.
