Greagory Williams is Great, IF you can see him.
Gregory Williams is great! If you can ever get in to see him, which can be very hard working with office staff. You will basically need to do their job. When you schedule an appointment with them, please know, they WILL NOT send reminders by phone, text or email. It is up to YOU to call them a week before and verify everything, and ask for an email that has everything documented - so that when you walk in, after waiting months to see the doctor, they haven't changed the time or neglected to mention any important info, because they WILL turn you away, without effort to make things right, without compassion or kindness.I have lived here for 3 years now and still am shocked by the lack of care. So If you are new to Tallahassee - it is vital that you understand that this is typical fare for Tallahassee providers and you will need to work harder because they won't. I have lived in 8 other cities around the US and Tallahassee is the laziest. Good luck.

Stay far away
He requested a stress test and never shared the results -- three weeks later I had a heart attack. He shouldn't be practicing medicine, he should be on a corner spinning a sign to sell car washes.

Dr Williams may be a fine Dr but it seems to be impossible to find out. I went there in early December and filled out 10-15 pages of paperwork to be a new patient. I was given an Appt for December 23 rd. I need a surgery and the surgeon needed a Pre Surgery Patient Risk Stratification ( my previous primary care physician retired) I arranged my entire Christmas schedule around this appointment. 2 days prior they cancelled the Appt & moved it to Jan 18th. For me this was nearly an additional month of suffering excruciating pain. Now here we are on Jan 14th and they are cancelling again and saying end of March. I am in excruciating pain daily and during the night. If I had been told upfront that they actually could not see me for 3 months I would have searched for a different Dr. This was extremely unprofessional and frankly cruel. There’s no way I can trust them now as they do not make appts in good faith and More than likely the March appt would also be cancelled last minute. Shameful.

I would give him 5 stars. In my case, he was kind and compassionate and I, for one, like the fact that he doesn't just rip off a prescription for a hangnail. He listened to my problems (some psychological, some physical) and his kindness did a lot to lessen my anxiety after my mother's death.

This review is a long time coming - I would give no stars if I could. Wiliams is probably a good doctor for healthy people. My issue with him is his lack of empathy for womens' health. I had phantom rib pain and an overall feeling of dread and anxiety. I wanted a full work-up to check hormones. After a basic chem panel lab test, he told me it was normal and all the feelings were mental wanting to put me on anti-depressants. I sought a consult with the OB about a month later to check hormones, and during the exam discovered a breast lump that was not there a month earlier. To this day, I am still battling cancer! He either takes an interest in you or not. He obviously didn't take any interest in my health or concerns. He may be good for well visits and school physicals. I would not recommend if you have any health issues or concerns. He'll just load you up with prescriptions and forget about you.

Dr Williams is a very personable, professional Physician. I've been seeing Dr Williams for 20 years and it was under his care and concern that we caught my thyroid cancer. I highly recommend Dr Williams and his friendly staff.

Dr Williams had me go to his office thrice,1 to gave me antibiotics. Which did not work. I went back with the same problem he basically said "let's spend a bunch of money on panels" did not even look at the state of the problem. The third time I saw Dr. Williams I realized this was just a steal your money scheme, they overcharge for 10 minutes of a dudes time who doesn't care about helping, make you sit in the exam room for over an hour so I can get a 5 minute "lets do more tests then come back"

Dr. Williams has been our GP for 8 years now. He makes sure to have proper diagnoses whenever possible, including that you have been tested for various conditions. He has no problem admitting what he doesn't know, and has close relationships with the specialists he refers patients to who share his desire to help patients live the best life possible. Unfortunately, he's gotten very popular and is harder to get in to in an emergency. I'll still take him over pill mill docs any day.

I do not recommend Dr. Williams to my friends as every time I had a visit to his office, he does not discuss the issue with me clearly and only tries to shorten the visit and see more patient in each hour.

I absolutely love Dr. Williams. Sometimes there is a wait to see him once you are taken back BUT it is always worth it. He spends the time to make sure your issues are addressed. He is 1 of a kind. I wish he was still my PCP but I moved and am no longer in the area. He helped me out tremendously by writting prescriptions for my numerous documented medical conditions that I have so that I didn't need to go to 10 different specialist and made my life so easy. I miss him greatly.
