GREAT!!! Dr. Root is a Wonderful Dr. He explains everything he is going to do, very caring, takes time with his patients. Genuinely cares.

He is always so informative and after going through pcos the last 8 years getting a hysterectomy was my best option! I'm glad it was him to preform it!!

This man is a doctor, friend and counselor. He is what more doctors need to be, he believes you know your body, he is willing to go through every avenue to help you. He does not make you feel like you’re crazy and always has a listening ear. He has saved my quality of life.

Dr. Root said one thing that really helped my with my fear of being rejected by doctors in my past. 'Always for you, never against you.' This meant the world to me and he proved to really mean it. He and the staff in his office are very sweet, caring, and helpful.

Listened to everything I had to say and was very much on my side for course of action. I felt heard and he took time to answer all my questions.

At 18 years old I sat down with Dr. Root and talked about how we had exhausted all treatments for my Endometriosis and he explained to me that the only thing left was the Diagnostic Laparoscopy. He explained the risks that could come along with it but nonetheless we agreed to go through. At 18 years old you can only imagine how terrified I was. But my God, Dr. Root took such good care of me during that scary time in my life and because of him I no longer have to suffer the pain of Endometriosis. I could not ever thank him enough! Fast forward a few years and I was able to naturally conceive 3 beautiful children. Forever thankful for you Dr. Root! I will always remember you!

I’ve never felt more valued and respected. He takes the time to talk about everything he’s going to do or what he suggests. He’s a true godly man and will pray for you like no other ! He has personally saved me in more ways than one .

Very personable and great bedside manner

I switched OB docs from OU to here because I didn’t like how I felt rushed and not listened to, like I was just a piece of business and not a patient. I’ve worked in the medical field most of my life so while I’m flexible, I do have a very good idea how patients should be treated. My first appointment with Dr. Root, I was able to get more accomplished/scheduled/talked about than I was in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy I spent seeing the doc at OU. He has amazing bedside manor, really listens, and is open to talking about any concerns both past and present. He went out of his way to make myself, my husband, and my kids comfortable and answer any questions or concerns and to learn our names and talk to each of us individually (all four of us in the room because school was cancelled due to weather). I’m terrible with names (sorry!) but his nurse and ultrasound tech were amazing as well!! I’m kicking myself for not going here in the first place, and looking forward to going!

You will not find a more compassionate doctor who listens, is alert, and attentive to giving medical care in the highest quality that we like to see our physicians uphold. Rare to have this kind of medical experience and expertise while serving his patients with humility and dignity. We are blessed to have such a professional doctor in our community. Absolutely LOVE Doctor Root, He's kind involved and the best OB and Gynecologist I have had! If your looking for a great doctor he's definitely the one!

I was really against having a male doctor, but the receptionist convinced me to just give him a chance and she thought I would be surprised. She was right. I lost my 2 month old in October of last year, so this pregnancy has been complex with a rollercoaster of emotions. Dr. Root has been really great about addressing my emotions as well as the pregnancy. He is humorous and caring, he does a great job at thoroughly communicating. At my previous OBGYN I felt like a number, there didn’t seem to be any care on a personal level, I felt like I was just a number. At Dr. Roots I feel like he knows me and cares on a human level. I am so glad I gave him a chance because he has made this pregnancy much easier, as I don’t have the extra stressor of disliking my OB.

I was hesitant about going to a male doctor but it was by far the best experience. His bedside manners are top notch. Praying before surgery definitely won us over. He explains everything in a way you understand. He doesn’t rush through your visits either.

Dr. Gregory P. Root. He has delivered two of our children. He is by far the best, Great Dr. Great person, Great Personality For our second child we drove 100 miles to make sure he was the one delivering.

I was very nervous when I went to my first appointment after I found out that I was pregnant. As soon as I met Dr.Root, I felt so comfortable. I'm so happy I randomly chose him to be my doctor. I seriously have never had a better, more caring doctor than him. I'd recommend Dr.Root to every woman I know. I have already recommended him to a couple of friends.

Dr. Root was very knowledgeable friendly and understanding. I did not feel uncomfortable nor did I feel unsure of what was happening to me when I needed emergency surgery. I would recommend this doctor to any female who is looking for a gynecologist or looking for an obstetrician.
