Fabulous Surgeon
I fractured my femur and have used this orthopedic group in the past with great success. Dr Nelson was on call and did my surgery. I was so pleased with his kindness, skill and bedside manner. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Would not recommend to anyone
Dr. Nelson seen has been treating my aunt in the DePaul and had to surgery for an infection. He has not shown any manners, he has not explained anything that he did. He also left he incision opened after the surgery. He has been rude but he will hear about this when she see him for the follow up appointment.

Dr. Nelson is such a wonderful doctor. He talks to you and explain everything that you need to know. My experience with him was wonderful but my experience with the receptionist wasn’t good at all. She was very rude and not pleasant to me. Her demeanor was horrible and the way I was treated was unfairly. I went to Dr. Nelson from a referral. My sister praise him and his work but going into his facility wasn’t a good experience for me. Never will I patronize a place where I’m not comfortable. Now don’t get me wrong Dr. Nelson is excellent but the service I received from a staff made me feel a certain way. My sister said I should have addressed it but I didn’t I just left after being seen by him. Would love to patronize his facility but as of yet I’m still thinking.
