Great visit. Long discussion on how to get back into swimming for cardiac health. Cautions to pay attention to with respect to my other diagnoses. Short discussion on tracking blood pressure as activity ramps up.

Dr. Mazanek takes his time to help me understand what is happening with my body and is always there to help me function at my best. He is a great doctor. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Mazanek for many years now. Simply put, he is an outstanding Doctor and I would rate him a 12 on a scale of 10. Great person, great doctor, very knowledgeable,caring and humble.

After a bad experience with a prior physician, Dr. Mazanek was a breath of fresh air. I was given great details on my condition, he went through all the options that were available to me and answered all of my questions. When you find out you have a heart issue it is scary. I left this appointment after being seen in the ER recently feeling good and very hopeful. He recommended another specialist, i saw the next day… I’m happy and relieved. I highly recommend him !

Dr. Mazanek is very personable and professional. He keeps up with the latest advancements in medicine as evidenced by his knowledge of my other medical conditions/treatments which would impact my heart. He is very thorough in his examination and explains treatment options well. Surprisingly, he does all of this while keeping on time which is difficult. I had barely checked in when they called me back for my appointment.

Went through the latest appropriate cardiology research for my exercise regimen. Also cautioned me about any over exuberance as I re-start a swimming regimen I was on last year. Plus he gave me the usual geriatric cautions for exercising at a high level.

I cannot provide enough praise for Dr. Mazanek! He is one of the few providers that will enter the examination room and take a seat next to you and look you in the eye while listening to your concerns. With the advancement of electronic medical records (EMR's) it is rare to find a provider that is practicing active listening instead of actively charting while you speak. He is non judgemental in his delivery and "meets you where you are at." I felt like he cared for me as a person instead of as a number. Would highly recommend Dr. Mazanek to my closest of friends and family.
