Outstanding cadiologist
As a nurse,I have had interactions with many,many cardiologist over my the years.He has always been very pleasant and informative to work with but then I became his patient.He is very knowledgeable as well as caring. He explains tests and their results fully.He answers my questions and gives me consequences with tact.I recommend him to everyone who asks. I always leave with a smile -he has a great sense of humor!!!

The Best!
Others that left a negative comment have attitude problems themselves! Dr May was wonderful when I was in the hospital. Has a great sense of humor. Great bedside manners and made me feel at ease when I had my heart cath. I am a Pastor so believe me I know a good spirit when it comes into the room. Thank you Dr May for caring for me.

My mother has been seeing Dr. May for about a year now and I've been taking her to her appointments. Dr. May is one of the rudest doctors I have came in contact with. He does not allow the patient time to explain what has been going on with them nor explain findings. He knows his information yes, but how he treats his patients is trash!!! His staff is great and very warming. It is just him!

Awesome, outstanding, communicates well. Compassionate to his patient's. My husband was his patient loved him so much when he left the practice he was in, that we drove to Florence South Carolina from Florida just so we could still see him

My first visit was last week. Dr. May stayed a total of about 5-7 in the room with the patient. Asked very few questions to the patient. Stated what he thought was going on, order test to be done, and that was it. He even took a telephone call in the mist of interaction with patient to talk to someone about ordering medical items for another patient. Very unprofessional. Will definitely be looking for another heart specialist. Would not recommend.

Dr. May and his staff are very professional. Dr. May provides a straight forward approach to patient care and takes time to listen, which I like. As an ICU nurse I have worked with all the cardiologist at ACC at one point or another and it is who I seek for my personal care.

This physician does not seem interested in the care of his patients. It's a one sided conversation with him. The receptionist at the office is nice but the nurse and other staff members were rude and seemed inconvenienced to deal with patients. This is not a practice i would recommend
