Same bad experience
I could not agree more with the review from 2021. I had the same horrible/similar experience with Dr. Lasala in 2019. I had not been back to the St. Joseph ER until yesterday because of the shame he made me feel since my visit. I don’t know why this man is a Dr. He’s not caring at all. I explained my symptoms and he didn’t listen to anything I said and responded with, “that’s your story,” and looked at his assistant and laughed. He also put two things on My Chart that had nothing to do with my visit that day and we did not even speak about and is still there today and bothers me so much that I had to write this after reading the other review. Well, yesterday I had the most beautiful experience with amazing doctors and nurses and X-ray technicians, everyone was so nice and caring. I pray that others who see Dr. Lasala do not have the same experiences because as we all know, one bad seed can really make a difference.

Unfortunately when you go to the emergency room you cannot choose the doctor that you see. This doctor spent almost no time with my son and almost no interaction with him. He wrote it off as alcohol abuse This dr. did not even ask about my son’s anxiety & depression. He did not discuss any other labs or treatment. Thank God for RN nurse Kevin. Kevin was very kind and compassionate.
