Dr. Heifler is an outstanding physician whose dedication to patient care is unmatched. From the moment I met him, I felt heard and understood, as he takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my heath condition. His efficiency in diagnosing and addressing concerns is remarkable, ensuring I never feel rushed yet always leave with a clear path forward. What stands out most is his genuine compassion; he makes you feel like you're his top priority. It's rare to find a doctor who balances expertise with such a heartfelt approach to care—Dr. Heifler is truly one of a kind.

Visiting Dr. Heifler is always an excellent experience - he is very knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. Visits are very personal, comprehensive, not rushed, and the advice is top notch. I believe he is the best family doc in the area.

Amazing Doctor! Doctor Heifler took me in as a new patient when I had symptomes of Covid-19 and my previous primary care doctor would not see me because I had symptoms. His office was open and ready in this awful Pandemic. They staff was so friendly even with this Pandemic occuring. He prescribed Zithromax and Hydroxychloroquine and told me to stay home and rest. He called me everyday to make sure I was improving. Now, I am fully recovered! He is so kind, caring, courageous and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care doctor.!

I go in for my annual every year. So I only see him once a year. My experience: he is very patient, kind, friendly, and non judgemental. I don’t get the negative reviews because he actually sits across from me and asks me how I am doing. I see a lot of doctors who can’t wait to get out of the room. Dr. Heifler is just the opposite. Polar opposite. His staff is very very busy, they are women who work very long hours, and so sometimes, may come off as terse. But they are very professional. They may not have the time to talk to you but who cares? They are there to do a job.

He is very kind and caring. Does not rush you through an exam. Takes time and listens to you.

I have a clinical background and assume that I am a difficult patient because of the number of questions I have about treatment and medications. Dr. Heifler is very patient and thorough, as well as caring and makes me feel he genuinely cares about me. He makes difficult discussions easy. I have full confidence in him and his office staff and appreciate his manner and approach. Recommend highly.

Plan to wait for an hour past your appointment time before you get called to another room to wait some more. Your time is cheap...

I only see this doctor once a year for check up and bloodwork. For my check up this year, I had to wait over an hour - fasting - before he saw me. He did not ask if anything has changed for me medically in the past year, he did not ask if I have any concerns. His medical assistant is rude and disrespectful. The office is cheerless. I'm not going back.

While competent, he is not the nicest of doctors. His staff can be very nasty too.

I had the same physician for 20 years in Houston and had a great relationship with him. When I moved to NJ, I was terrified that I would not find the same high standard of care I had become accustomed to. Dr. Heifler put all of those concerns to rest. I couldn't be happier with the quality of his practice, his thoroughness, his professionalism, and his personable nature.
