Harmful Doctor
My adult son was a patient of Dr Haley with protracted depression. Dr Haley not only was not helpful or effective in treating this he blamed my son and said there was nothing more that could be done. Instead of referring him to a specialist in refractory depression or even consulting an expert which is the standard of medical care, Dr Haley gave my son no hope and shamed him for his suffering. My son then killed himself.

I saw Dr Haley when he was an intern at IUPUI and I thought he was great and that’s when he started so I can imagine how good he is now.

RUN! Do Not Walk
I saw Dr. Haley from 2005-2018. I had moved away in 2012 but was still driving the extra long way to see him until I thought it had gotten to be too much. A difficult decision for sure. In 2022 I started back on my meds and psychiatric care with Kaiser Permanente and I can say with certainty, that decision to leave Dr. Haley's care was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Hands Down. If you were to as Dr. Haley, he could probably tell you I have made many in my lifetime. He has no idea that this one was the biggest. If you are able to get in to see him, RUN! Do not walk. He is the most caring and HUMAN Psychiatrist you will ever find. The rest are a bunch of robots with no sense of humor or a caring bone in their bodies. And now, I'm stuck in the robotic hive that is Kaiser Permanente's Behavioral Health Department.

Love Dr. Haley but Admin is not great
I have been seeing Dr. Haley for years. After COVID, he joined a new practice. The scheduling became more difficult, and lost its personal touch for sure. It takes 24-48 business hours to get a response (or 1-3 weeks in real hours). I stayed with him because he is an amazing doctor and person. I had built a great relationship with him. I was surprised to find out I was discharged for missing appointments. I didn’t even understand what dischared meant so I asked annd understand why. Apparently, they had contacted me multiple times. I checked but counldn’t find any messages. I apologized on the phone, but the response was something along the lines of “don’t worry, we are very busy so you were replaced easily”. In the end, I was discharged for exhibiting symptoms of my illness. It’s probably for the best, I suppose I need a better health system that fits me. If I could split the review, it would be 10 stars for Dr. Haley and 0 for the rest.

I would not even consider leaving Dr. Haley’s care
I have been with Dr. Haley for well over 10 years. As I said in my summary I would not even consider leaving his counsel. He has helped me in more ways than any other psychiatrist ever did. I strongly recommend anyone who gets in to see him not to cancel their appointment. You may miss the help of a lifetime

20 years and going strong!
Dr Haley has been my psychiatrist since I was 28 years old, and now I am 48 years old. So far, a total of 20 years and still going strong! I can tell you that he has saved my life multiple times. From the very beginning, at my first appointment, he was able to explain to me how depression & anxiety affects the brain better than any doctor had before, it finally made sense. He also is excellent at describing, or even drawing out, how each individual medication works in the brain to help alleviate your symptoms. He is truly a "God-Sent" doctor to me. I've dealt with more than anxiety & depression through these past 20 years as well, and Dr. Haley has always been there for me. He never judges, and he always has my health and best interest at the forefront of my treatment and care.
