I did not see this doctor very much because his nurse practitioner handled everything. When I did see him I did not feel comfortable talking to him. He had little to no bed side manners. Not the doctor for me. Just hands out medicine without solutions.

Horse-blinded by years of surgery, his Bedside-Manner, and conversational prowess are severely lacking. Would recommend to an enemy.

I read the negative reviews and laughed. Can he be rude? If you do not respect his time and show up late he will tell you to your face. I am glad he’s willing to tell me that if I am late I make others fall behind. To say he stopped meds cold turkey? No! That person violated the pain management contract with him for him to do so. If you want more than pain meds, he’s the doctor for you! If you say you want to try other things like injections or nerve blocks he is more than willing to accommodate you. And would a rude doctor say before giving each injection, ok here we go. This may hurt a little more cause of where it’s at. Are you doing ok? No a rude doctor would not! A doctor who genuinely cares about your well being would. You don’t want to piss him off, be on time! Follow the agreement you and him make! If you can do that, you won’t have an issue whatsoever.

I have been seeing Dr. Figg for about a year now. I feel like he listens unlike the pain management Dr. I had before. He noticed something that my back Dr. missed and he explained to me what is going on and why I have more pain moving certain ways. He is not in a rush to get my prescriptions and get me out. He takes his time explaining everything, answer any questions and tells me the best options. Unlike a previous pain Dr I seen before. I have told my family to go see him. His staff is great a

Dr. Figg and his staff (front office specialist and MA) were extremely caring and compassionate. Dr. Figg is always kind and takes the time to truly listen and understand his patients. He explains the diagnosis and the next steps very well. Kudos to OhioHealth for having such a wonderful physician on board!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Figg?
Dr Figg is extremely rude, nasty and does not listen to anything that you say. And when he does come into your room he's in and out in less than two minutes. Extremely poor bedside manners and I would NOT recommend him to anyone at all and for me having to go through what I have been going through for the last two years with pain I do not need someone like him!

Dr. Figg was great. He treated me like a human being and not just a #. Dr. Figg sat down and asked me where my pain was how bad the pain was then showed me exactly where the problem was in my L4-5 and went over all my options. He also gave me a referral to another surgeon so I could get a 2nd opinion. After almost 2 years I finally feel like someone was interested in helping me live my life. Now hopefully I can enjoy more things with my children and find a long term plan for my back problems! Ty
