I was referred to him by my pain management team I had X-rays of my hip results found that I was in need of hip replacement. Dr. D'Angelo and his team were very thorough and respectful.

Doctor was able to listen and was thoughtful for the best outcome for me.

Great experience for a first time visit. The staff was very kind and efficient. Dr. D’Angelo greeted me with a big smile. It felt like he was greeting a long time patient and that he was happy to see me. He was interested in my medical history and what he could do to help me. My initial visit was excellent. I feel I have made the right decision for my orthopedic care.

I highly recommend Dr. D'Angelo to anyone in need of joint replacement surgery. My wife has had both hips replaced by Dr. D'Angelo with no problems. I have had a partial knee replacement with no problems and a second one to be done at a future date. Dr. D'Angelo has been a truely amazing orthopedic surgeon and I'm actually looking foward to having the second one done before he decides to retire. Going into my first major surgery I was surprised as to how calm, unafraid and confident I felt and I know that it had everything in the world to do with Dr. D'Angelo and the great staff at Bluegrass Orthopedics . By the way I worked in operating areas and saw the sights, heard the sounds, smelled the smells, saw the equipment used to perform these operations, I had a real knowledge and great idea of what I was getting into. I thank each and everyone of them, from Dr. D'Angelo to the cleaning staff for an amazing experiance.

I had a partial left knee replacement in February 2016, which i am have great success with. I am now scheduled for a total replacement on my right knee in February of 2020. Dr D'Angelo is a genuine person, who has compassion for his patients. I would not consider anyone else to do the procedure on my other knee. His P.A.'s Derrick and Tara are top notch in their field, they answers any question with facts, and truth. Bluegrass Orthopedics is the Taj Mahal of Orthopedic Medicine. I had a knee scope on my left knee for damaged meniscus. Dr. D'Angelo removed the damaged area. I can now walk and sleep much better with little pain. He is very respectful and has good bed side manners. His staff is as nice and efficient as he is. Little wait time. Very happy with the treatment and results of the know scope.

I had been to several specialist for my knees for years. Wish I had found Dr. D'Angelo sooner. He is the best! Others wanted to do a full replacement are a failed arthroscopic years earlier. Dr. D'Angelo did a partial and things are great. Recovery was short and I was back climbing stairs in no time. I highly recommend him.
