Patience is all it takes
Haven't seen him in over 2 years because my diabetes is managed. When I was seeing him he was extremely professional and patient. He is one of best, honest doctors I have ever had! The food diet he worked out for me was understanding of my age. I was set in my ways, but he patiently helped me adjust.

Dr. Cook has shown no interest in the cause of my early onset osteoporosis. He has never spent more than 5 minutes with me during my yearly visits and continues a treatment that may or not be working, with no concern of its' effectiveness. His staff has not returned multiple phone calls from me (regarding delayed treatment due to their failure to order medication) or my oncology doctors' office (requesting medical records). My experience with Dr. Cook has been highly disappointing and inattentive. I am currently in the process of finding another endocrinologist with whom my health and osteoporosis treatments will be of greater concern.

I have seen two other endocrinologists in the past ten years and had several reasons for being dissatisfied. After three visits with Dr. Cook, I am--at last--highly satisfied with the level of care I am receiving for growth hormone deficiency.

Took four months to get an apt. He did not listen to my symptoms, and just told me why I could not have a condition that I was diagnosed with by a different doctor a month later. Reason's included me not being overweight, and the rest of my symptoms "seeming within normal range" including severe pain. At one point he told me hair growth on young women was normal and that "Sometimes his wife didn't shave and it was still attractive.". Incredibly unprofessional, and proven wrong by a later doctor.

Dr. Cook is an excellent Doctor, I have been seeing him for five years now for PCOS and he has always been great. He always makes sure to take the time to listen to his patients, he is very personable, and his staff is very nice and helpful, especially his nurse she's fantastic. I trust Dr. Cook's judgement implicitly.

Dr. Cook is a wonderful doctor and human. He listens and never rushes me out the door. He responds quickly when I reach out on on the My Chart app. He stays current on medications and therapies, and will research on the spot, if necessary. I have, and will continue to recommend him to people who need a great endocrinologist.

Dr. Cook is TRULY the best physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. My past experiences with endos have been a nightmare (being called a liar, fired from practice, told I was attention seeking) but never has Dr. Cook made me feel this way. He listens to my concerns and addresses them. He doesn't treat me like I am stupid. For the first time in 4 years my thyroid levels are FINALLY under control. I travel 90min-2hrs one way just to see him. I would recommend him to any and everyone.
