Dr. Gregory Coates, MD

Dr. Coates is the best doctor I have ever had. The only thing that upsets me is that I didn’t go to him sooner. A caring doctor is worth all the obstacles it takes to get to them. Even if there are inconveniences unrelated to my doctor, I would still go see him. It doesn’t matter how long I have to wait if it means I get the care that I need so I can feel at ease with my health concerns.

I am beyond frustrated with this place!!! Back in October I scheduled an appointment & the first available they had was February 16th. In the four months of waiting, I never got a confirmation email, a call to confirm my appointment or any type of communication to notify me of my upcoming visit on 2.16. I called in January to figure out when my appointment was scheduled because of the lack of correspondence. During this call they asked me if I had any paperwork mailed to me and I said no. they stated it was no problem and that they would see me on my appointment date. Fast forward, My appointment was at 3 PM, I arrived at 2:48 PM. After arriving I signed in and sat down. I wasn’t even greeted! They called my name about 30 seconds after I sat down and said because I didn’t come 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time, they would have to reschedule my appointment and the next available was June! EXCUSE ME?!!!! She said someone should’ve told me to arrive 30 minutes early. I told her no one told me that any of the times I spoke to someone and she said this was scheduled back in October so maybe I forgot. Wow, so you’re insulting my memory now?! I spoke to scheduling before I came as well as the nurse, Jordan, and no one notified me of having to come 30 minutes prior. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! I WAITED 4 MONTHS FOR THIS APPOINTMENT!!!!! I am a full-time stay at home mom with a full-time job. I left work early AND paid a babysitter to watch my child so I can go to this appointment…all to be told I can’t be seen until June?!! No thank you! They don’t give Grace periods for new patients, time for any type of accident to happen or even send appointment correspondences for goodness sake! I am new to the area and had a few issues I needed to speak to the nurses and Dr about and waiting 4 more months wont cut it! I am appalled at this visit and the lack of customer service and correspondence!

Dr Coates has done an amazing job, he’s very understanding and very helpful! I recommend this obgyn !!!

Dr. Coates is extremely patient and truly goes above and beyond for his patients.

He is just a great person. He has a great personality and is always really sweet. And makes you feel welcomed. And normally it doesn’t take long to get back and be seen.

Unfortunately, not many OB/gyns in the area are accepting new patients. Which left me with NO choice to see this MD. First off, he’s great. Listens and was very proactive with my care as I was a difficult one. His staff is horrible, rude and obviously have no experience working in the medical field, especially in this field you get the good and bad, they have no sympathy. Your urgent calls are advised to go to the ER. They cannot fit you in for emergencies. You’re just another waste of time.

Waited six days for a call from the nurse after talking to office person and leaving a vioce message for the nurse asking if I was to contunue with my medication. Not at all happy with the responce time.

Dr.Coates is awesome. Went in never having a male obgyn before, so I was a little nervous, but his friendly demeanor and personality helped calm me down after meeting him. He is very polite and has treated me with nothing more then respect. I have been going to him for three years now, and would recommend him in a heartbeat. His staff has also been very polite and freiendly every time I have been. Welcoming me with a smiles and friendly personalities. Would give 10 gold stars if I could.

The office staff are all very sweet and welcoming. Dr Coates was very nice and answered all my questions and addressed all concerns thoroughly and had a very good bedside manner!

This is my third child and recently new to the area I needed a new OB office. After having some issues with bleeding during the first trimester. Dr. Coates office staff recommended going to the ER which I did. The very next day I called the office and was told since the bleeding continued to return to the ER. I could not be seen in the office. Poor service and I'm switching office now. I'd recommend any other office in the area other this. I've never been treated so rudely in my life.
