Dr. Brunin is a wonderful communicator and is always mindful of my concerns. He did an excellent Cataract surgery on my eyes a few years ago and now I see better than ever before. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best! Removed a cataract from my right eye in late November and removed the left in mid-January. Both eyes have fully healed and my vision is just fantastic! I heartily recommend Dr Brunin and his fantastic staff at Eye Associates. Offices in Boerne and San Antonio

Dr Brunin gave me sight without glasses! I had the Vivity Lens and I am so pleased with the surgery and care I received from Dr Brunin and his staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Eye Associates and have done so to friends and family.

Find a different doctor
Dr. Rice performed cataract surgery on my right eye. I had extremely good care and a wonderful outcome. After Dr. Rice retired Dr. Brunin took over my care. He performed cataract surgery on my left eye. He did not tell me after the surgery the new lens had shifted in the healing process. I now have extremely blurry vision in my left eye. The problem is my right eye already had central vision issues so now I am unable to read or see well close up. After only a few minutes of trying to read my vision gets very blurry. Dr. Brunin should have let me know my eye did not heal correctly. I found out after I changed to a new ophthalmologist. An intervention could have been done early. Now I am left with a decision to make have about further surgery which could have a negative outcome. Run the other direction. Find a different group of doctors. Once Dr. Rice left, the care I received was substandard.

Dr Brunin is kind and professional.
Dr Brunin performed cataract surgery on my left eye and will soon perform cataract surgery on my right eye. He never rushes my appointment and always takes time to thoroughly explain things. I have referred several of my friends to Dr Brunin and they have all been very pleased. I highly recommend this doctor!

Usually I don't see MDs, when they told me I had cataracts I taught with a little bit of luck I'll be dead before blind. I was wrong, live and almost blind. Dr Brunin took care of me, he operated my left eye and I'm very happy. On a 5 stars rating I'm giving Dr. Brunin and his great team a 6 star. I'm ready for my left eye.

I expect a health care facility will follow current CDC COVID guidelines. Sure enough, the sign at the door specified masks, 6 feet separation, and only patients can be in the waiting room. Good! Inside was a different matter. The waiting room was quite populated and though all were masked, few were 6 feet apart. Every other chair was blocked off, permitting a distance of no more than 4 feet. I was handed a clipboard to fill out information that could have been completed online to avoid unnecessary touching. Once in an examination room, I politely expressed my concerns to the technician. She shrugged and replied, "It's all open now," referring to Texas Governor Abbott's lifting mask and distancing requirements despite CDC warnings to wait. Yes, Texas restaurants and bars are fully (prematurely) open but we can choose to avoid those until the pandemic has been beaten. However, we need health care. We deserve providers who put public safety ahead of grinding out the patient s
