Dr. Gregory Berland, MD

Dr Berland has always spent plenty of time with me during visits. Our relationship had to be terminated due to non stop failure refilling your prescriptions. This topic was brought to his attention several times it ruined the relationship. I only see Dr. Berland 9 out of 10 times, 9 regarding meds I've taken for years prior to his service. Simple meds, not harsh addicting ones. It's disappointing when it takes weeks if not a couple months to get a appointment with him, only to finally have that meeting and 5 days later, the pharmacy hasn't received your new prescriptions. If he had done his job, this relationship wouldn't have ever reached this point. Plain and simple.

They don’t answer their phones.. always too busy and voicemail messages are rarely returned.

Dr. Berland is an exceptional physician. My husband and I have been patients for over 10 years now. He takes his time regardless if he has it or not, he’s kind and knowledgeable. We are blessed to have him has our family doctor. Highly recommend him.

I picked dr Berland as my primary care but I can never get an appointment with him. It’s always his nurse practitioner which is very mediocre. I recently was sick and saw Michele there and she prescribed some antibiotics and steroids and after almost a week called them back and they said they could not help me that I should go to urgent care and really could not believe that but I did and passed out there on the examining table and was rushed to hospital by ambulance. Had low sodium and once discharged tried to get in with dr Berland since the dr in hospital said follow through with your dr but could not get an appointment again with dr Berland. It has been very frustrating and his staff is not knowledgeable. I had a fracture in my collar bone but the dr missed it till it was painful.

I agree with a couple of the posts from March of 2017. Dr. Berland seems to be a great doctor if you could ever get in to see him. The scheduling staff is absolutely deplorable. I have had to make 10 phone calls in one morning just to try and get a sick appointment. The scheduling calls go into a general appointment center for Florida Hospital where you can have hold times of up to 15 to 20 minutes... sometimes longer. I am amazed Dr. Berland can still stay in business!

Dr Berland has great instincts and medical skill. He is thorough and engaged during exams and explains his treatment plans along with suggestions for follow up. Highly recommend

Cannot choose a 0 or I would... I have been going to Patients First for well over 10 years. Now it’s part of the “Florida Hospital Group”. It used to be a great place to get quality care. Dr. Berland was my Doctor that I saw whenever I went in. Unfortunately things have changes drastically over the years. I have not seen him personally in in over 5 years. His quest for expansion, which I understand from a business perspective, has come at the cost of his patients. The very people who enabled

He is the best of the best in the Tampa area. My husband and I have been seeing him for well over 10 yrs & wouldn't change to anyone else. He cares about his patients. He goes over and beyond to know his patients health history and much more. If I had one complaint it would be trying to get ahold of a real person instead of a voice mail like it use to be a few yrs ago. If you are in need of medication they ask you to give them 3 days and sometimes this is not acceptable for particular situations

I been with Dr. Berland for three years now through a recommendation of a co worker. At 44 this is the first time in my life that I have had a doctor that I'm fully comfortable with.
