Will cut your nerve while removing wisdom teeth
I went to Dr. Benson when I was 18 to get my wisdom teeth removed. He said it is a pretty easy standard procedure. 2 days later he called me because he knew he messed up and explained that he cut my nerve and I would never have feeling in my tongue ever again. I ended up having numerous dr appointments and had to have a 6 hour surgery to try to repair the nerve. To this day I still have minimal feeling in my tongue.

Was referred to two different doctors and selected Dr. Benson based on his professional website and high ratings. His staff is exceptional - they are prepared and welcoming, and they don't waste time. Dr. Benson is very personable and kind. He's very considerate of parents and children. Their service was very well coordinated and provided. The estimated cost was very reasonable, in my opinion. After our service was submitted to insurance, we received a prompt refund - which just made me even more grateful that I selected Dr. Benson because they have integrity and deliver an awesome service. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. He has a military background also so if "buying American" and supporting veterans is important to you, he's an excellent provider for you!

a minute ago-Edit I needed to have three teeth extracted and was told it would cost $450. I paid the day of the painful extraction. Weeks later a bill arrived for another $120. Surprised I called the office and found out that insurance did not pay as much as the practice expected because only those charges that are "reasonable and customary" are covered. Apparently, Benson's fees are neither. Benson over charged me by 26.6%!

I would highly recommend Dr. Benson and his staff to everyone I know but especially to people who have special needs children. My son is 44 years old and has been to Dr. Benson 3 times and each time they knew precisely what medicine to give him to calm him and get him fully sedated without traumatizing him. I can't say that for other places my son has been to.

I highly recommend Dr. Benson. The wait was short, everyone seemed knowledgeable and was friendly, and the extraction was painless. Dr. Benson took time to answer all of my questions and was concerned about any level of discomfort.
