For several years as Dr. Backofen's patient I have always been impressed by his medical expertise, sincere attentiveness and true concern regarding my needs. He's not pompous or vain in any way; just caring. But his greatest asset is having genuine compassion.

I was in considerable pain and wanted to see a doctor, but it was late in the day. I called Dr. Backofen's office and requested assistance.
We arrived at office approximately 45 minutes later and DR, Backofen saw me. Upon examination, he determined the problem to be a large cyst?.
He removed it and the pain and discomfort subsided immediately.
Where in this world today, can one receive an emergency appointment at 3:30 PM, to see a doctor, obtain an operation and be home for the 6:00 PM news.

Dr Backofen has treated me for 3 years now. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He has worked with me to manage my fibermyalgia. He is currently working on my diabetes 2 and blood sugar stable. His staff is very courteous and friendly. He is there when you need him. His PA's are knowledgeable and caring. I see them when I just need minor stuff and go to DR Backofen for the really serious stuff. I would recommend him to anyone!
