Dr. Gregory Arthmann, MD

The 1 star reviews are probably people who don't want to work even 10 hours a week and or have a severe drug or alcohol issue. I didn't know I have had some sort of seizure condition for many years-which can be not be good for you in your sleep if left untreated. I have had symptoms I ignored for many years as I didn't have private health insurance or Medicaid.

My daughter was admitted on a Baker act with severe delusions and manic state. I was made her proxy. She was administered injections and other medications without consulting or even contacting me. Then she was released without contacting me and she was still completely irrational and delusional. 100% not stable to be on her own. What a joke of a doctor!

Dr Arthmann was rude and refused to visit with me in private each day of my stay. He violated HIPPA and he was arrogant. He told me I had a drug overdose even though the drug test was negative so he started guessing at a few things. He forced me to submit to tests I did not need or he would recommend to courts I would not cooperate. This lead to additional medical bills that even the insurance company deemed not medically necessary. I filed a 3 page report on him and his staff in which the board released me. Out of 158 hours under his care I slept 26 hours and he did not even listen to the advise the RN and other nurses gave him about helping me get some sleep. He needs to resign. Don't even bother going to St Anthony's Hospital if you need mental assistance. I reported them on many violation including failure to follow CDC guidelines.

Dr Arthmann is very condensing when speaking with patients and their relatives. He is the epitome of someone with a "God Complex" The man talks to his patients and there loved ones like they are idiots and when a loved one try to offer some background and insight to the patients mental status prior to being in his care, he gets very condescending and says he does not need any background info, he knows what they need currently. And when you reply, "I an just trying to share what has happened in the past and what has been tried previously" in winch he responds, "There is not anything you could tell me, do you have the title of doctor? I didn't think so, are you a psychiatrist? I didn't think so,, so you just do whatever you do and let the professional work" Even though he did not allow me to answer and I didn't feel the need to brag, but I do have an extensive professional medical background and multiple degrees to support it. So when it comes to ego and lake of concern for a patients!
