I went through a miscarriage in St Peters University hospital and Dr. Giannina was the Dr. on shift to see after the ultrasound was done.He didn't introduce himself, came to the room where my husband and I were crying and just said 'yeah, guys, there's no heartbeat'.'If I were you I would get this cleaned as soon as possible. If you wait it to of natural you may bleed out' (not of this is true, neither necessary to say)We were shocked! no sympathy, no empathy, just awful. I'm pregnant again and I have refused to go back to saint Peters just for this person. He made a very bad and sad experience be the most awful thing.He is definitely THAT person they show in the movies that make your memories be even worse than they had to be.I was told by the staff that this doctor was no longer associated with St. Peters but according to the internet it seems he still is.Run away from him!!!

This person is the most uncompassionate human on the planet. Don't know why he chose the profession he is in. If you want someone who really cares about you and your family, call the hospital where you plan to deliver and ask for the head nurse. She or he will give you the best advice. Pass on this physician.

Incredibly poor bedside manner in communicating a significant maternal risk. I sought a second opinion within 3 days who completely refuted his statements. I’ll be seeing the second doctor in the future.

He is Gods blessed hands, who helped me much as possible to avoid premature delivery to save my little twin set inside.... Pleasant and very convincing!! Decisions are perfect!!! God bless Him a lot , lot more...

Our circumstances for seeing Dr. G on a regular basis weren't the best, but he (and the staff) always made my husband and I feel comfortable and prepared for my Gastroschisis baby, throughout my pregnancy up until delivery. We still stop in to say hi when we're close!
