My experience attempting to raise serious concerns with Dr. Grant Mitchell was disappointing. I contacted him after encountering troubling behavior from a provider under his supervision. Despite taking time to explain the situation in detail, I received only a general response that failed to acknowledge or address many of the specific issues I had documented.In my view, the lack of accountability and follow-up from someone in a leadership position was disheartening—especially in a setting that claims to provide compassionate mental health care. I expected greater professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness from someone in his role.Mental health leadership carries great responsibility, and I truly hope Dr. Mitchell takes future concerns more seriously than he did mine.
