He is practical.. Something you don't find with most orthopedic surgeons..

This doctor is a joke he just wants to bill your insurance and not treat your problem

I came in to Howorth with a 3-day old boxer's fracture and told him to if needed re-break the fracture and set my bone. He agreed to this and 2 days later, under anesthesia, I had surgery. Prior to the surgery, I did not see him, afterward as well. I was instructed by a nurse and left the hospital with an overly compressed wrap assuming he had done the agreed upon surgery. 14 days later he explained he didn't. All testimony has been submitted to my insurance, verify with Keepro Insurance.

Dr. Holworth was friendly and kind BUT assumes that pain is fixed by the normal routine. If you are a patient with severe pain and still trying to figure out treatment, he doesn’t mind if you hurt. He doesn’t give pain medication even if he can see (X-rays, MRI) and feel you are hurt and injured. He wouldn’t even give me NON-NARCOTIC pain medicine! He let me leave the office in tears. Cancelled next apt and will go elsewhere from now on. I suggest you do the same.

Used Dr. Howorth for foot surgery. He actually made the foot worse. He inserted a pin and then had to remove all the inserts due to infection. He kept saying things were fine when they were actually deteriorating. I still have pain and the foot turns inward. I need special shoe inserts which help some. I have to wear a brace and Howorth did not even prescribe this to help the problem He wanted to do more surgeries and a second doctor said any additional surgery would just make it worse.
