Dr. Gouthami Boga, MD

Dr. Boga always takes her time and listens. She explains everything and if I have questions she makes sure to answer them so that I understand completely. She is one of the few doctors that makes me feel like my voice matters. I truly appreciate her and the staff at this location. I would recommend her and the staff there 100%.

I am requesting another Cardiologist. I have a new primary doctor and she referred me to this group. Dr. Boga had me scheduled for a stress test. When I saw her again for a regular appointment she never went over the stress results. She was 35 minutes late for the appointment and the visit was over within 5 minutes. She said she would see me in 6 months. I still do not know why she wanted to see me in 6 months. My primary doctor went over the stress results and everything was fine. If I continue to have issues with this group I will go back to the Hershey group. The current group is closer to home.

Based on my visit I can't understand why anyone has given Dr Boga a bad review. Yes, the office scheduling needs improving (my appointment started almost 30 minutes late), but that's no reason to dump on the doctors. Dr Boga was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She took her time and didn't rush me through the appointment. She made sure I had no further questions before the appointment ended. I was very satisfied and would recommend her highly.

Doctor is competent but office response time is horribly unacceptable. UPMC should take action to correct this office's deficiencies.

Although she referred me to the right dr., I would not see her again. I had a prominent bruised eye from a fall after passing out and when she met me for the first time ever she exclaimed three times how scary I looked. I'm losing all confidence in pinnacle cardio. You can never schedule with your chosen cardiologist, always someone new for urgent appts.support staff is awful, nurses rude, never have been treated so badly by any other doctor.

I didn't sense she was listening to my discription of my discomfort. Also she didn't seem to understand me. Almost like I needed a translator. I chose another doctor.
