My children have only ever had minor illnesses, and Dr Sluis has been great about teaching me when medication is needed or when to just wait it out. When my baby was born, after checking her in the nursery, every morning he came to see me and my husband in our hospital room, and I really appreciated that. Dr Sluis' office is much better managed than other pediatricians' offices in Vicksburg.

My baby has been seeing him since birth and she's five but I have had bad experiences where she has had to come back several times because he didn't handle what was wrong The time she had scabies and went to him twice and he didn't know. I ended up going to the same clinic but a different doctor and he knew the very first visit. His name was Dr. Moore. I just took my child Monday for pain and a possible cold and Dr.Sluis sent her home with no meds. Today I'm picking her up from school sick.
