We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Just saw Dr. Katz, who is new to our community. We are very lucky to now have two full-time ENTs locally. I've been going to Mary Rutan ENT for years and they provide great service. And the new facility on the 3rd floor of the Health Center is a beautiful location!

Terrible …. Rude …. Unconcerned … robotic. 4 minute exam and then spewed the diagnosis as if he was bored saying it. I am sure this narcissist could care less about reviews

I am highly disappointed. I do not recommend this physician for anything. His terse responses border on rudeness.

Rushed Case & Poor Results
I won't go into too much detail, but I will say that I am very disappointed with my experience. The visit felt rushed and the two surgeries that I received from him did not resolve my issue. When I talked to him about this, he just referred me back to my primary care physician. He does not seem to care.

I sent my husband to be seen by this ENT Dr for a hole that he has had in his eardrum and sinus issues that are concerning to ME, his RN wife and am beyond disappointed with the quality of care that he received. He didn't assess ANYTHING! As a nurse myself, I expected for this "Dr" to at least half way act like he wanted to give care but instead my husbands concerns were dismissed and unaddressed. What a waste of a co-pay. I don't know if it was because my husband is black or this Dr just doesn't care but if you yourself or your loved one has ears, nose, or throat concerns, DON'T go to "Dr." Katz.

Went to Dr. Katz originally for treatment of neuropathic cough due to silent reflux and throbbing in head upon movement. He completely ’side-stepped’ my original concern. Jumped to possible diagnosis of ’sinusitis’... ordered CT scan. After CT scan said nothing noticeable. He couldn’t do anything more for me. When I mentioned I still have throbbing pain in my head upon movement, he said I should go to my primary care physician for further care (???). Obviously, this doc just didn't have anymore ’tools in his little toolbox’. I felt helpless at that moment. I did not feel any authentic concern or care coming from this doctor. His so called ’bedside manner’ needs a lot of improvement. I will not be returning. Centerville, Ohio.

I saw Dr. Katz for a hearing imbalance. He sent me for an MRI and was able to help me get the correct diagnosis. He referred me to a specialist at University of Cincinnati.

Unlike some of the other reviews, my experience was a lot different. Dr. Katz listened thoroughly and gave a clinical conclusion. The audiologist giving the hearing exam was excellent. In conclusion, I was very satisfied with the doctor and office.

Met with Dr Katz due to having a sore throat for 1 month -I had been diagnosed with a fungus in my mouth and throat a month prior - fungus cleared but sore throat remained - Dr Katz sent me for a swallow test - Results on line indicated a condition but when I saw Dr Katz he said nothing was revealed - but I mentioned what I read and he then confirmed the condition -but said it wouldn't cause a sore throat --what?-now he is referring me to a specialist. He seemed confused

We went to Dr. Katz to get some ear wax removed from my 6 years old right ear. Not only did he not remove the earwax he decided my son needed his tonsils out. My child’s tonsils are NOT swollen nor does Dr. Katz have any medical documentation or a reason to take his tonsils out. We did NOT schedule and will not be returning.

Went to Mr Katz on referral from my PCP. Examination was over in 2 minutes with limited comments by him. C. Wenning did the hearing testing and she was great. Mr Katz then talked to me, about one sentence. I asked about the status of my hearing and he said the audiologist was "yelling at me" . Quite a non qualitative description of my hearing status. He said " I will see you in a year" ,I said to myself NO WAY.

Very poor doctor only interested in surgery then when that didn't work he basically shrugged his shoulders and said we'll don't know what to do for you. Very poor bedside manners didn't seem to really care.

Dr Katz does not lend a hands on approach after surgery. He leaves it to his medical staff and does not see you until approximately three weeks after. He will take all the time and care to get you in so he can get paid but leaves you high and dry when you have legitimate medical concerns.
