Dr. Gordon Crofoot Jr, MD

Dr. Crofoot's office is clean and tidy, the front desk staff are friendly, and the clinic is very inclusive. I see Dr. John Chapman there, and he is the most wonderful Primary Care Provider I've ever had in my life! He takes care of my multitude of health issues with a smile, makes me stay on top of labs and appointments, and always answers my emails in a very timely manner. He has a great smile and bedside manner, is respectful and helpful, and always very understanding and non-judgemental. I switched from community health centers to CrofootMD clinic because the staff treat me like a person rather than a number. They do have iPad check-in, but if you would rather go up to the desk and have the receptionist check you in, they do so with a smile. I would definitely recommend CrofootMD clinic to anyone in Houston!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Crofoot since about 2005. Love him and his staff. He is professional, but open and friendly. He stays up to date on what’s going on in the field of medicine and his diagnoses guidelines and treatment protocols are always current with the latest studies and guidelines.

I've never had a primary care physician so attentive and able to solve any issue I might have. He is very warm and has a terrific bedside manner. His support staff of other doctors and nurse practitioners are equally as great. Even the phlebotomists are fantastic. Office staff is very nice. I love Dr. Crofoot.

Maggie White is fantastic! The entire staff is so professional and they REALLY care about their patients. This can be seen by how often they are willing to go to bat for you with your insurance company. They all take the time to listen and actually hear what it is that you're saying.

Dr. Crofoot is in the process of retiring and the clinic is going downhill. Access for urgent needs or request for a provider calls are over. This practice is very administratively top heavy and impersonal touches like iPad check in and payment make one feel like a number, if they get in. I don't know what happened to this practice, but after breaking my arm and not being able to be seen within a week or have an x ray called in was the last straw of many frustrations. If you contact the flu, you're screwed if you need to get in or have Tamiflu administered within the national window. Dr. Crofoot and Maggie are wonderful but the practice carrying his name is tarnished. I don't recommend!

The front office is not pleasant to work with. She always makes it feel like it's an inconvenience when calling and requesting something. SUCH AS THEM DO THEIR JOBS. I would not recommend them

Nice guy, nice staff, always attentive, take a personal interest

Competent provider in a non-judgemental and safe environment. He and his NP are a 2 person army. Wait times are almost always excessive and getting in on emergencies can be impossible. There are also issues with billing that can be frustrating.
