Excellent Pain Management Specialist and Staff
Dr. Kuhar and his staff were very knowledgeable, methodical and conscientious in carrying out my procedure. I was given an epidural lumbar injection using a very hygienic preparation. I felt very little discomfort with only an occasional pinch. Dr Kuhar was friendly, keeping me calm and explaining the procedure every step of the way. At the end the staff helped me off of the table very carefully so that I would not feel any pain or fall. Thank You to Dr Kuhar and his staff during, before and after my procedure at the Saratoga Hospital Pain Management Group.

Do not see if on workers comp
Been seeing Dr Kuhar over a year and has done nothing for me. Office has been billing my humana insurance and i refuse to pay copay several times and can not get it fixed through albany medical collage that does billing. All Kuhar says is sorry and never does what he says he is going to do. They have been trying to get approval from workers comp for a nerve destroying agent and do not do the paperwork right and never sends a level two appeal. Seeing Dr Rado tomorrow because it takes six weeks to see Dr Kuhar. See what happens, in a lot of pain and they do not care!

Great experience
Dr Kuhar is friendly, informed, and highly capable. He will answer your questions directly and honestly. The pain injections I received from him have been successful. His bedside manner is higher by degrees than any I have ever experienced. His staff respect him deeply.

Dr. Kuhar may be good at doing lumbar injections for pain management, but his followup and doing paperwork is exceptionally slow. He was to send in a prescription right after I left my appointment at 10 am. at 3:30 pm there was still no prescription at the pharmacy. It was Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend and I had to wait until Tuesday until I could get my pain medication. This also happened when trying to schedule my pain injections.

Dr. Kuhar's knowledge, easy going personality and staff continue to aid with my very difficult situation. I've been seeing the Doc since I moved from the west coast about a year ago and his entire approach has made things easier for me compared to the supposed top of the line specialist I was dealing with on the west coast.
