Dr. Gonzalo Celis, MD

on 05/12/22 I went to see Dr Gonzalo Celis for two issues, one a regular physical and to have a signed a form for dmv so i can have a handicapped plate due to very painful knee problem, well this so call doctor not only he question the level of my problem to walk for long distance with out a walker, but he was disrespectful /unprofessional towards my wife stating ( you need to be quiet and let me talk to him) as she was attempting to explain how difficult and painful is for me to stand and walk for long periods of time, now i am a 61 years old with knee surgery's, and a brain aneurysm survivor and sometimes its hard for me to maintain balance, after we attempted to explain this several times, the answer we got was ( you look great) ( let me thing about it if i am willing to sign those papers for the handicapped plate) REALLY? but let me tell you, he was soo ready to send me home with referrals for several different specialist that have nothing to do with my visit, NEVER COMING BACK!

Dr Celis, is a good caring doctor. First that I had in last three doctors Finally found one that seems to care of one’s health! He is very considerate n ask questions.

Discussed everything that needed to be discussed and it appears that they have a better computer system that has the necessary information at hand.

Dr Célis has been my physician for many years, and will continue to be. I feel comfortable asking questions, and I am confident that I will get thoughtful and/or researched answers. The practice is well run and appointments are almost always on time. He is a popular doctor, so it is not always easy to get a fast, routine appointment.

It is difficult for me to hear a soft spoken person through a mask as I have a mild hearing loss .. everyone should be encouraged to look at the person to whom they are speaking and to enunciate clearly and loudly .

I went in for a followup visit. Dr. Celis, as my PCP has recommended Specialists for some of the challenges I am having. These doctors sometimes refer me to others. Thank heavens for Dr. Celis, he keeps everything straight.!
