First visit
The doctors office is like a car assembly line ,no compassion or explanation of diagnosis. I give it a f for failure

Time To Retire
My first visit I waited 1.5 hours past my appointment time to be seen. The doctor had a specific sheet he wanted filled out in addition to the normal medical paperwork. When I was finally seen, the doctor asked if my wife and I still had sexual intercourse to which I said yes. Within a few minutes, the doctor proceeded to leave (without even asking for the sheet I was asked to fill out) after prescribing me a medicine that would give me ED. After my CT scan, I went for my follow up. After waiting an hour past my appointment time, I told the receptionist I couldn't wait any longer and rescheduled the appointment for March. In between this time, I received information that Atlantic Urology was no more but that my appointment would continue as scheduled. When my appointment in came up, I was told Dr. Gangi was no longer there. I don't know the in's and out's of a medical clinic; however, I have never been treated worse by a medical practitioner in my life. Not Recommended!

Terrible
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at Atlantic Urology Clinic on October , 2023. I had a set appointment However, I was made to wait for more than two hours in the waiting room without any explanation and with blatant disrespect from staff when inquired after hours of waiting responded with a grim finger pointing to a banner displayed “.. cannot wait LEAVE NOW” after hours of waiting. When finally seeing Glenn Gangi, MD he was automatically inappropriately derogatory making offensively shrewd comments leaving myself disturbed and humiliated. Compelled to leave from appalling lack of professionalism and discrimination I underwent, at the very least this “clinic” undermined my civil rights which resulted in neglect, adversity and untreated. Unacceptable violations in their own code of ethics and standards of care. Also ask anyone to take immediate action to prevent this kind of discrimination and injustice from happening again by speaking up here and/

Gave me the WRONG lab results and have refused (to date over a month after my request) to provide a correct copy. Extremely dismissive front staff, and totally too concerned with packing the waiting room at the expense of providing quality care to patients. Rude!

Yes we had to wait but was well worth it. You are dealing with a competent, compassionate, experienced well educated Dr. With chairside manners. We jumped ship with Dr. Rich and went to Dr. Gangi because of his infinite knowledge and mannerism. Answers questions without attitude and arrogance. Highly recommend but remember you may have a wait time but thats Not his fault its scheduling's.

For the most part he is a good doctor. Billing department is very rude. Dare not question your bill, you'll be put in your place. If you have a procedure done, there is no such thing as a post-op you will still pay for an office visit. If complications arise from whatever procedure is done. Be prepared to pay for every visit. And if you're having trouble urinating after your procedure, may as well go to the emergency room don't look for any immediate help there. So you will wait in the waiting room. Learned a lot about pain and humility. I'll never be back!

The word appointment is meaningless here . I always have to wait in a room full of sick people more than a hour past my ( appointment ) time .

On April 10, 2020, I attempted to schedule a tele visit with a doctor at Atlantic urology for my 85 year old father. After speaking to Sharon and Raina who kept speaking with a doctor. 1st off, they were only able to tele visit with an i-phone (which I do not have). I suggested Zoom or something else (not available). However, they offered a tele visit the following week.My father cannot urinate without pain & burning also, left side pain. They said if we could not wait until next week go to the emergency room (during CORONA-VIRUS) Wow, could not believe it.

Aside from the fact that Atlantic Urology’s waiting room resembles a 3rd world train station and the cleanliness of the facility is definitely not up to what I would consider minimum standards Dr Gangi although having a great personality and I also believe very competent he is VERY ineffective due to the fact that I believe he is way too busy and overworked and therefore is less than prepared for appts and procedures !!!

Two years ago, Dr Gangi was 5 stars but his practice has grown too big and the waiting times are now unacceptable. After 3 visits over the past year, the waiting times are over 1 hour. Yesterday, I cancelled my appointment after waiting more than 45 minutes. I recommended him to a friend who had a similar experience twice. I do not recommend his practice any longer and will find another urology practice that is considerate of their patients.
