Dr. Glen Kemp Jr, MD

My adult daughter was referred to Dr. Joe Kemp after a visit to Agnesian Convenient Care for two broken fingers. I went along to the appointment. Dr. Kemp walked into the room, didn't introduce himself, didn't ask how the patient was doing or what had happened, and didn't ask who I was. He grabbed for my daughter's hand to examine it and she said "don't touch me" and he responded "That's what my wife says. I can get that at home". I felt his behavior and comments were inappropriate and unprofessional. His manner was brusque. He did not seem to care about my daughter's level of pain or consider whether she might be anxious. He displayed no compassion. He told her she needed to move her fingers and she explained they hurt and he told her if she wasn't going to listen to him that was her choice and he left the room. He never asked if we had any questions. No mention of whether there would be a follow up appointment. Our interaction with Dr. Kemp was less than 5 minutes.

Was very informative, great bed side manner. Surgery was successful.
