I have two different cancers. I have dealt with many oncologist, hematologist and many other specialists. I have always felt that I needed to take responsibility for myself and learn as much as I can about my condition and treatments because I know most healthcare professionals are extremely busy and overbooked and don’t really have time to go over redundant questions and minute details with each patient. Dr. Condemi is one of the rare doctors that I felt was not trying to rush through appointments and made me feel like time was not an issue, as he just wanted to make sure he listened to me and gave me all the information that I needed. I feel that he is very concerned with me as a person in treating each issue as a whole.. While dealing with two diagnoses of cancer, I have never felt that the prior doctors were as knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely concerned as Dr.Condemi .

Dr. Condemn is so caring and understanding. I had an anomalous finding on an MRI of my brain that showed a possibility of a bone marrow issue. I had just gone through treatment for lupus nephritis, was suffering from generalized anxiety disorder, and was just a mess. He literally saved my life with his kindness and sense of humor. Thank goodness everything turned out ok; no cancer, but blood tests showed malnutrition from not eating enough during my illness. But even that worried him! He is an absolute gem, and his staff in Rutherford, from the phlebotomists to the front desk, are awesome as well. I understand he is top in his field, and no wonder! I believe that even if you are seriously ill, he will go above and beyond to help you, and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Candemi has been my father’s oncologist for 13 years treating my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He saved my father’s life, we consider him our family’s guardian angel on earth. He is very passionate about his patients and a God fearing man who has absolute expertise in his field; he knows what’s what with a few concerns stated with 100% accuracy. He will not sugarcoat anything to any patient because he genuinely loves his job and wants to save lives. He has ALWAYS answered every single anxious phone call and text from me and my mother no matter the time of day and has always provided us with words of encouragement together with the reality we were dealing with. He is an amazing doctor with a beautiful heart; nothing we say, write or do could possibly be enough to thank him and show him our appreciation for his love, care and guidance. Was referred here to get an iron infusion, I was told everything would be covered and all I owed was my $50 specialist copay which I paid at the time of the visit. A few months later I received a bill of over $1000+ saying I had to pay the deductible on my insurance because the office is billed as the hospital facility and not just billed as a specialist office. Holy Name Hospital has been great and took care of the bill but this doctors office told me on the phone they would be able to handle it but didn't do anything and then when I reached back out again via email after I got another collections notice they said I am responsible for the bill and to make a payment plan like the phone calls didn't happen at all.

My mom was being treated by Dr. Condemi for cancer back in 2010. My sister and brother were both there and were a witness to Dr. Condemi’s cruel wrath towards us. In his office in Englewood NJ, with other hospital staff in attendance he yelled at us regarding my dying moms condition. As my mom lay in her hospital bed, Dr. Condemi raising his voice way beyond conversational level and tone, informed us that , “ there is nothing that we can do for your mother.” Almost 10 years later this haunts me.

He's a fabulous Doctor! He's so thorough in so many fields and his sense of humor is so contagious. I wish more doctors were like him more people should be like him. Myself and my family feel like I'm finally going to get better because of him :-) now the wait time to see him is a bit eh but the only reason that is is because you're sent for blood work initially. Dr. Condemi is a very caring and attentive physician. Answers all questions and concerns. He saved my life after an event of a blood clot finding out I have a rare hereditary Anti-coagulation condition. I know I am getting the best care. I highly recommend Dr. Condemi.
