out of date & head in the sand re: perimenopause
Old fashioned and does not listen, I went in for perimenopausal symptoms and wanted to explore HRT on the recommendation of my GP. She looked at my date of birth and asked when my last cycle was (early 40s and a month ago) She told me I was not in menopause that happens around 55 and stated definitively that I was not in menopause. When I pushed the hormones for the very obvious perimenopause symptoms that I had, this woman is still quoting the Women's Health Initiative on HRT study from 2002! If you are perimenopausal age please stay away from this doctor. She is not helpful. For those who care, went to med school in Mississippi

She ripped my IV out after having an emergency c-section and made me wait THREE hours without pain medication. She was rude and crass with my dad when he asked why she chose to rip out my IV before ordering me oral medication. 100% would not recommend her to anyone! Stay away!

Dr. Dickerson has been my OB/GYN specialist for more than ten years. She is patient and gentle while conducting my pap smear. She also was the only doctor that took time to find out why I had difficulty during my monthly menstrual cycle. She recommended and conducted my hysterectomy. I am thankful for her, and blessed to have her as my doctor!---Sheila

I scheduled appt. and confirmed 1 day before. When I got to my appointment on time (5 mins. before), I was rudely told by ofc mgr that I had to reschedule because I was a new patient and needed to be there 15 minutes early. I was never told this was mandatory only recommended. I was in the parking lot 10 minutes early, called the office because I was having difficulty finding the office. I was put on hold and no one ever came back to the phone. I cannot rate the Dr but the staff is horrible.
